1. Army recruitment rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts Kozhikode,Kasaragod, Kannur, Malapuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Wayanad and UT of Mahe from28 Aug 2019 to 08 Sep 2019 at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University CollegeGround, Mannuthy, Thrissur. Online registration is mandatory and will be opened from04 Jul 2019 to 18 Aug 2019. Admit cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail by 20 Aug 2019. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time asmentioned in the Admit Card.

PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT (AT RALLY SITE)

Physical Measurements will be carried out as per the Physicalstandards listed at Para 2 above.

MEDICAL TEST

(a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.

(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH / CH / BH for specialistreview. Candidates referred for specialist review should presentthemselves to the nominated Military Hospital (MH) on appointeddate of the referral and report back to ARO for issue of Admit Cardfor CEE, in case declared FIT.

WRITTEN TEST THROUGH COMMON ENTRANCEEXAMINATION (CEE)

(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominatedvenue. Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rallysite and through Admit Cards.

(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will beissued at Rally Site itself.

(c) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued

after getting medically fit by concerned specialist / specialist atMilitary Hospital (MH).

4. Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificate in original withtwo attested photocopies with them to the rally site:-

(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do notshrink the size).

(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colourphotographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white backgroundnot more than three months old. Computer printouts/ photoshopped photographswill NOT be accepted.

(c) Education Certificates.

(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of alleducational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate /Graduation etc. from recognised School / College / Board / University.

(ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified inksigned by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board /University.

(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bringSchool Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO / DEO.

(d) Nativity / Domicile Certificate. Nativity / Domicile Certificate withphotograph issued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

(e) Community / Cast Certificate. Community / Caste certificate affixedwith photograph of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar / District MagistrateRevenue Dept.

(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar / SDM.(If religion as “SIKH / HINDU / MUSLIM / CHRISTIAN or any other Religionpracticed” is not mentioned in caste certificate).

(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued bythe School / College Principal / Headmaster, where the candidate last studied.

(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issue byVillage Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than21 years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / MunicipalCorporation within last six months.

(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW Candidates arerequired to produce the following documents:-

(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office onlyduly signed by Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name andparticular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate withoffice seal/stamp is endorsed.

(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on TenRupees Non Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st

Class/ Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by thecandidate at the rally site. Format of affidavit attached as perAppendix ‘A’.

(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced.Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A / B / C certificate and Republic Day Paradecertificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuingauthority. Provisional NCC A / B / C pass certificate will only be accepted ifauthenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.

(m) Sports Certificate.

(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level andState at National level within the last two years. For list of sports underwhich, relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited towww.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.

(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level andUniversity team or regional team at District level with 1st / 2nd position within

last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number andfrom Govt Recognised sports institutes / bodies as under:-

(aa) All Sr / Jr national Championshipcertificates

(n) Affidavit. An affidavit duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-judicialStamp Paper as per specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted bycandidate. Format attached as per Appendix B (Affidavit in old format will notbe accepted).

(o) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PANCard & AADHAR Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose ofPay & Allowances and other social benefits scheme.

5. Special Instructions.

(a) NCC Certificates.

(i) NCC ‘C’ Certificate - Sol GD & Tradesman candidates areexempted from CEE.

(ii) NCC ‘C’ Certificate and - CEE exempted for all candidates.Participated in Republic Day Parade

(b) Important Notes.

(i) Eligibility criteria may change without notice.

(ii) All rights are reserved with this Recruiting Office regarding cancellationof candidature at any stage during the entire selection process.

(iii) Dress for physical fitness test will be T-shirt / vest with shorts / half pantand canvas / sports shoes.

(iv) No TA / DA or any other expenses are admissible.

(v) Army being a Central Government Organization, all documents arerequired either in Hindi or English language at the time of enrolment.

Important Instructions

6. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables anddrinking water with them since recruitment is a time consuming process.

7. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on producing ofAdmit Card in duplicate generated online through the official websitewww.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over toCivil Police.

8. Candidates (Sol GD and Sol Tradesman) having D+ in Class 10th must submittheir detailed mark sheet at the time of participation in the rally. Less than 33%marks will be considered as fail.

9. Recruitment into the army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribeto anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process duringrecruitment at all stages is computerised and transparent. Therefore, candidates areadvised to be beware of touts as they cannot help the candidates at any stage.

10. Candidates are advised to check their age and education criteria beforeparticipating in the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting educationcriteria will be disqualified.

11. Giving / taking bribe, production of bogus/fake certificates and indulging in unfairmeans is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law.

12. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type willnot be accepted.

13. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agenciesbefore enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submittingfake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates arefound to have produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time ofrecruitment, despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.

14. No compensation for Death/injury/loss etc during the rally and no travellingallowance / dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in therally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing ofIndemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.

15. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performanceenhancing drugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the samewill be debarred from further screening.

16. Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face offorearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm / back(dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are notacceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection.

17. If 180 days or more lapse between the screening medical test at the rally and thedespatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not berecruited.

18. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates aredispatched for training.

19. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site and at the time of CEE.

20. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam beforecoming for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physicalmeasurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting itcleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.

21. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days.Candidates should make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.

22. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.

23. Result of written examination will be declared on the official websitewww.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It isresponsibility of candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.

24. Relaxation Documents to be Produced for Availing Bonus Marks DuringRecruitment Rally. Candidates who are availing concession of bonus marks will beconsidered for relaxation of bonus marks only if they produce in original / provisionalcertificates at the recruitment rally site. No certificate will be accepted after the terminationof rally.
