1. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible male candidates of UT of Lakshadweep atKannur (Kerala) (venue to be intimated later) for the period from 20 February to 31 March2021 (exact dates of the Rally will be confirmed later as per COVID-19 pandemicsituation). Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 23 December 2020 to05 February 2021. Admit cards for the rally will be generated one week prior to the rallydate. Candidates will be able to download them through their login ID onwww.joinindianarmy.nic.in website. Candidates should reach the venue on given date andtime as mentioned in the Admit Card.

Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)Physical Measurements will be carried out as per the Physicalstandards listed at Para 2 above.

Medical Test

(a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH / CH / BH for specialistreview. Candidates referred for specialist review should presentthemselves to the nominated Military Hospital (MH) on appointeddate of the referral and report back to ARO for issue of Admit Cardfor CEE, in case declared FIT.

Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)

(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominatedvenue. Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rallysite and through Admit Cards.

(b) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will beissued at Rally Site itself.

(c) Admit Card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issuedafter getting medically fit by concerned specialist / specialist atMilitary Hospital (MH).

4. Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificate in original withtwo attested photocopies with them to the rally site:-

(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrinkthe size).

(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographsdeveloped on good quality photographic paper in white background not more thanthree months old. Computer printouts/ photoshopped photographs will NOT beaccepted.

(c) Education Certificates.

(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educationalqualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc.from recognised School / College / Board / University.

(ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signedby the head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University.

(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bringSchool Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO / DEO.

(d) Nativity / Domicile Certificate. Nativity / Domicile Certificate with photographissued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

(e) Community / Cast Certificate. Community / Caste certificate affixed withphotograph of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar / District Magistrate RevenueDept.

(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only dulysigned by Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name and particular ofthe Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp isendorsed.

(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on TenRupees Non Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1stClass/ Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by thecandidate at the rally site. Format of affidavit attached as perAppendix ‘B’.

(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced.Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

(l) NCC Certificate.

(i) NCC A / B / C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate shouldhave photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. ProvisionalNCC A / B / C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated byconcerned NCC Group Commanders.

(ii) “Candidates who are holder of NCC ‘C’ certificate and have participated inAnnual Republic Day Parade camp at Delhi and issued RDC certificate will betreated at par with those candidates who have participated in Republic DayContingent Parade at Delhi”.

(m) Sports Certificate. Sportsmen who have represented India at InternationalLevel and State at National Level within the last two years. For list of sports underwhich, relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited towww.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.

(p) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card &AADHAR card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay &Allowances and other social benefits scheme.

Note:-

(i) Bonus marks will be accorded only on qualifying in the written examination.

(ii) Only one ward of SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW can avail bonus marks in writtenexamination.

(iii) Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted only on productionand deposition of original certificate at the rally site. In case of certificate not being verifiedon time, bonus marks will not be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with therecruitment / Army authorities.

(iv) Maximum bonus marks that can be given are 20 Marks even if a candidate qualifyfor more than one type of bonus marks.

(v) Validity period of Sports Certificate will be within two years on the date ofscreening.

Important Instructions

6. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of AdmitCard, COVID-19 free/ asymptomatic certificate (format attached as per Appendix ‘D’) andNo Risk Certificate (format attached as per Appendix ‘E’). Asymptomatic certificateshould have been issued within 48 hours prior to the rally reporting day. Anyone foundwith fake admit card / certificates will be handed over to Civil Police.

7. All candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidate havingtemperature / showing symptoms will be directed to report again on a designated dayearmarked at rally site for all such cases. If the candidate is again having symptoms, hewill not be allowed to participate in the rally.

8. All candidates will be in possession of facemasks and gloves.

9. Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribeto anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process duringrecruitment at all stages is computerised and transparent. Therefore, candidates areadvised to be beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.

10. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking waterwith them since recruitment is a time consuming process.

11. Candidates are advised to check their age and education criteria before participating in therally. Candidates found under age/ overage and not meeting education criteria will bedisqualified.

12. Giving / Taking bribe, production of bogus/ fake certificates and indulging in unfair meansis a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law.

13. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/ alteration of any type will not beaccepted.

14. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies beforeenrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fakedocuments. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found tohave produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment, despitethe number of years of service individual may have rendered.

15. No compensation for Death/ Injury/ Loss etc during the rally and no travelling allowance/dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at theirown risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond isa mandatory requirement.

16. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancingdrugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will bedebarred from further screening.

17. Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e.from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/ back (dorsal) side ofhand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable andcandidates will be barred from further selection.

18. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medicalwill be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.

19. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are despatched fortraining.

20. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site and at the time of CEE.

21. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming forselection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physicalmeasurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting itcleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.

22. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days. Candidatesshould make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.

23. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.

24. Result of written examination will be declared on the official websitewww.joinindianrmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibilityof candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.

25. Relaxation Documents to be Produced for Availing Bonus Marks DuringRecruitment Rally. Candidates who are availing concession of bonus marks will beconsidered for relaxation of bonus marks only if they produce in original / provisionalcertificates at the recruitment rally site. No certificate will be accepted after the terminationof Rally.

26. Only one ward of SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW can avail bonus marks in writtenexamination.

27. Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted only on production anddeposition of original certificate at the rally site. In case of certificate not being verified on time,bonus marks will not be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with the recruitment / Armyauthorities.
