We are nearly there – 100 days at school! On Monday the Level 1 students will parade their costumes at assembly and then at 1pm our party will begin! Please refer to the note sent home this week. Please take the time to celebrate all your child has achieved over the past 100 days – we are certainly proud of their efforts! Next week our spelling focus is on the letter k and the spelling pattern ‘au’ and our maths focus is on the number 100. We are exploring ways that we keep ourselves happy and healthy and we enjoyed a visit from
Will the Water Man who shared the role that water plays in keeping us healthy. In a couple of weeks time we will have our first visit from the fire-fighters who will give us tips for fire safety. Have a great week, Elizabeth, Stacey, Mitchell and Rachel Level 1 team

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability All schools and approved authorities for schools in Australia participate in the national data collection annually. Through this collection, data is collected about students with disability across Australia in a consistent, reliable and systematic way. This collection is based on the professional judgement of teachers about their students and the level of reasonable adjustments they are provided with to access and participate in education on the same basis as other students, consistent with the obligations of all schools under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005. The national data collection provides Australian schools, education authorities and the community with information about:
the number of school students receiving educational adjustments because of disability
the broad level of reasonable education adjustment provided for students with disability to access and participate in education
each student’s broad category of disability
the distribution of school students with disability.
Data will continue to be de-identified prior to its transfer to the Australian Government Department of Education and Training. No student’s identity will be provided to the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.
This data will inform better targeting of resources to support students with disability, including Commonwealth funding for students with disability.

Our week began with great enthusiasm from students, parents and teachers, who all headed to the MCG for an excursion. We were ex-tremely eager to explore the museum, interact and have a go at differ-ent skills in the Game On area and have a tour of the MCG. It was a fabulous day and I think stepping onto the MCG ground along with the press room were a few highlights of the day. A big thank you to all of the parents who helped out on the day. (View our MCG collage) Reminders:
Please return your swimming notices by tomorrow, so that or-ganisation with parent helpers and buses can be finalised.

Digital Tattoo
Once stuff about you goes online there is no knowing who
will see it, or when they will see it.
What’s the issue?
Things that are posted online may seem like they are ‘here today, gone tomorrow’, but this is not the case. When images and
videos of our ‘bad hair day’ or latest crazy exploits are posted online they can end up anywhere in the world and be re-used in
ways that we never intended—even years later.
Why does it matter?
Other people cannot see inside your head, so the ‘you’ that they know is the one you show them through what you say
and do. This includes your offline self and your online self.
We form impressions everyday about people we don’t know personally. We use whatever information we have to do
this, for example, pieces of their work, pictures of them or comments they made in a forum. Other people will form opin-
ions of you in exactly the same way.
Digital material is no longer under your control once it has been shared, even if it is only shared with people you trust.
Once stuff about you goes online there is no knowing who will see it, or when they will see it.
Advice
Prevention is better than trying to mop up later
Think twice before putting material online—what would this look to your Grandparents, your teacher or your friends?
What about in ten years time?
Keep things in perspective
Be realistic about the impact of what has gone online—if it is a bit embarrassing but otherwise harmless, learn from the
experience and move on.
Be clear about who you want to be online and offline
Let other people know that you don’t want them putting embarrassing material about you online.
For craft this week the children decided they wanted to do sewing, we’ve seen pillows being made as well as bears and birds A few other children have asked to do pin art, which looks great put up on the window. In the kitchen we have been experimenting with healthier alternatives, as part of a new Camp Australia initiative. Outdoors we have been playing footy, soccer and basketball. Other children have been skipping and playing on the playgrounds. Notice for Prep parents. This term we will be starting to let the preps walk to OSHC by themselves, we will still provide teachers with a list of who is coming and a staff will be in the yard to assist anyone, but we also encourage parents to give their children reminders as well. If you have any questions regarding the process please come in and talk to the coordinator. Just a reminder, if you are creating or cancelling a booking to please call customer service or go online to the parent portal. If it is last minute you are also able to call/text the service phone on 0412 545 042. If you have any inquiries or questions please call us on 0412 545 042, alternatively you can call customer service on 1300 105 343, or email. [email protected] Our website is www.campaustralia.com.au

Showcase Fundraiser Wednesday 27th July
We will be displaying the amazing work of our twenty teams at a performance night, held in our school hall.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the teams to perform in front of their much loved crowd and a great per-
formance opportunity for our National teams before competing in Queensland on Saturday 6th August. Our
prep students will also be performing their routines.
This will be a magnificent showcase of the extremely talented and enthusiastic students that we have at An-
tonio Park P.S. We are also fortunate to have past students performing their secondary routines. We will be
presenting our National Squad with their uniforms on the night.
Families, friends and relatives are invited to this fundraising event and all money raised will support the growth
of our aerobics program. All payments for the night will be made at the door, so correct money will assist in a
smooth flow through the doors on the night.
Thank you for your continued support,
The APPS Aerobics Coaching Team
