SentenceArrange–Blue,Brown,Green,Orange,Purple&Teal
Description: The Sentence Arrange activity allows learners to rearrange sentences in their correct order so as to come to a conclusion or that a story maybe read correctly or that the sequencing of a project is completed in the correct order.
Learners click on Check ( ) to check to see if they have arranged the sentences correctly. If the sentence order is correct, a tick is placed next to the sentence, if incorrect; a cross is placed next to the sentence.
Learners click on Reset ( ) to reset the game and start from the beginning.
If the Solve ( ) button has been activated in Edit Mode the learners will be able to click on Solve if they wish to see the solutions.
Clicking on the help button ( ) will launch a description of how to use this activity. Click on close to close the help and return to the lesson.
How to:
Click on the Gallery Tab ( ). Type in Sentence Arrange into the search bar located at the top of the Gallery.
‐ There are various colours of Sentence Arranges to be found in the Lesson Activity Toolkit: Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Purple and Teal. The activities found under these colours are the same so the sentence Arrange in Blue is the same as the Sentence Arrange in Teal. The only difference is the colour of the background.
Click and drag a Sentence Arrange “maker” onto your page. The programme will load.
Click on Edit –
Type in the sentences you wish the learners to rearrange in their correct order –
You can copy and paste text into the text boxes by:
Copy the sentence from the source.
Ensure you are in Edit Mode
Click on Edit>Paste (Right click > Paste)
The text will not paste into the allotted text box but rather into a text box somewhere on the page
Drag the text box with the text into the space where it must be placed. The correct space will turn yellow and the dragged text will slot into it.
Checking the Solve ( ) button will show the Solve Button which will allow the learners to click on Solve if they wish to see the solutions.
Click on OK ( ) to exit Edit Mode. The lesson will then load.
