Characteristics of work/ Trademark style•Paint applied very thickly (impasto technique)•Well defined shadows/ exaggerated – usually bold blue in colour•Usually paints rows of objects•Linear and circular composition•Shop window displays of cakes and pastries•Often paints with a straight on view point, the viewpoint of a child looking at something

Working Methods•Mainly worked from life, setting up carefully considered compositions
