Art Poster Contest for Students!
WHO can participate?
All San Benito County students, TK-12 grade
WHAT should be included on posters?Please see rules on the back of this flyer. Poster contest themes for your respective grade level are shown on the back side.
DUE DATE: MARCH 16, 2020! Each student needs to complete the Entry Form (found in school’s main office) and attach it to the backside of their poster entry.
Drop off your Poster and Entry Form in the designated Submission Box in your school’s main office by March 16, 2020!
PRIZEWinning posters will be enlarged and displayed on the side of Recology’s collection trucks!
Winners will be announced during the San Benito County Earth Day Event on April 25, 2020. Winners will receive a certificate and prize package.

2020 Student Art Poster Contest RulesTHEMES TK-2 Grade: Love our Planet! Draw something that answers the question - What would keep our planet happy?3-12 Grade: Draw a solution to one of the following problems - plastic pollution, lack of public transportation, dependence on fossil fuels vs renewable energy, or water scarcity
q Students must create ORIGINAL artwork, no copyrighted clip art or computer generated graphics/characters
w Artwork should be on quality paper like poster board or printer paper. Binder or scratch paper will not be accepted. The artwork must be on 8.5”x11” size paper
e Artwork must be 2-dimensional, no glued on pieces will be accepted, and a 6-word maximum per poster
r Use BRIGHT colors and BOLD text, you can use crayons, markers, colored pencils
t Only ONE entry per student
y All posters must have the Entry Form (below) attached to the back of the poster
u Drop off artwork and Entry Form in designated Drop-Off Box located in your school’s main office by March 16, 2020
