ShadingThe students will learn about shading and explore the properties of the different pencil weights – HB 2B 4B and 6BThey will then practise shading on 3D shapes

Still LifeThe students will set up an interesting still life using toys or things that they love from their bedroom.We will focus on shape, colour and texture.They will be introduced to the idea of comparative measuring.

Drawing upside down

The idea behind this is that when the kids draw the line drawing upside down they are forced to forget how they think it looks, and they instead draw what they see.We will have a few fun line drawings for them to practise with.It’s an excellent activity to train accuracy with the eye.
