What is the Creativity Lab? The Creativity Lab is an art room located inside the Sheridan Recreation Center that has shelves and cabinets bursting with art and craft materials. We also have a new Media Center equipped with 2 guitars, keyboard, synthesizer and microphone.
Who can use the Creativity Lab? Creating art in the Lab is enjoyable for very young children, school-age kids, teens and adults. We ask that children under age 7 be accompanied by an adult.
What can I do in the Creativity Lab? You can create anything you want! We have supplies for painting, printmaking, drawing, beading, 3-D sculptures, mosaics, sewing, mixed-media collage, knitting and crocheting, card making and much more. We also have ordinary objects (frames, pots, baskets, recyclables, odds and ends) with creative potential.
