• Atlas is a mechanism, within ARTES C&G Demonstration Phase, to support the Launch of “Flight Hardware“
• Atlas supports any flight product related to telecommunications satellites andTelecoms products
• Atlas helps the product gain the critical Flight heritage • Atlas Hardware can be:
• On any type of mission• On a flight opportunity from anywhere in the World• within main mission (Embedded) or alongside the main mission as
Hosted Technology (Passenger) or as a dedicated mission (Pilot) • Integrated in to another ARTES supported Mission

Introducing the Pilot Case:
• It supports end-to-end satellite system
• Up to 25 MEUR, up to 50% funded (75% for SMEs)
• Suitable for NewSpace and small satellites
• It supports development, launch and/or in-orbit demonstration

SMEs: support increased to 75% for all development phases (no ARTES Entry) Atlas also allows ‘pilot’ case flight configuration (up to 25 Mio Euro) Simplified Full Proposal Template:
• Reduced from 12 to 7 parts• Optional Parts for smaller Proposals from SMEs (up to 500k Euro)
• 5 weeks ESA response to industry after Full Proposal submission thanks to introduction of “Gates” (approximately every 4 weeks)
