ARTHUR C. O'MEARA III, 75 ROCKTON - Arthur C. O'Meara III, 75 ofRockton died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in his home. Born Sept. 7,1936, in Chicago, the son of Arthur C. O'Meara II and Carol Rehmer. Hemarried the former Mary Ellen Dennett on Feb. 1, 1987, in Olympia Fields.Arthur was a corporate attorney for Navistar. He was a member of the zoningboard for the Village of Rockton for six years. Survivors indude wife, MaryEllen O'Meara; son, Arthur C. (Cristina Arroyo) O'Meara IV; daughter, Heather(Brian) O'Meara Kwiatkowski; stepdaughter, Ellen (Chad) Cord;grandchildren, Courtney O'Meara, Arthur C. O'Meara V, Aidan Kwiatkowskiand lilly Kwiatkowski; sister, Jan Hodes; and stepsister, Mary Kay Tiegreen.Predeceased by his parents. Memorial ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April22, in McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, with theRev. Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating. Cremation rites to beaccorded.
