• This would normally be an unheard of story that comes from behind closed doors of an artist, this could be a band or a solo artist.• It normally brings to the public’s eye or knowledge something that

has happened that in reality, shouldn’t have, e.g. fight, argument, etc.

Interview

• This is without a doubt, the most common thing we see in an article for a magazine.• Interviews are based around the interviewer asking a question, and the

interviewee responding to the question.• The interviewee is able to interact with the interviewer by asking to rephrase

the question, or to change the subject.• It is also beneficial to the interviewer, because they can change their

questions accordingly and also ask the interviewee follow up questions.• Interviews generally tend to be the interviewee expressing their thoughts and

opinions.• However, interviews do take up a large amount of time.

Personality Sketch

• This tends to be a mixture of what the reporter or journalist has found out about the person, views and opinions from the person, and views and opinions on the same situation from other people.• The other people tend to be in the same field of work as the reporter

or the person being written about.• It allows the reader to develop their own opinion on the matters that

have been reported on.
