Dear Colleagues,

As businesses continue pushing forward in the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is no surprise that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can bring about immense benefits for organisations. Early adopters of AI are well aware that AI can enhance customer experience, effectively manage risks and compliance, and improve operational efficiency – and they have embarked on their AI journey to fully reap the benefits of this cognitive technology.

Last year, we explored strategic “How To” topics for designing workable and sustainable AI strategies. While this remains a strong focus in the market, this year’s agenda will shine a spotlight on practical case studies from across various sectors including BFSI, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Consumer Goods, Logistics, Supply Chain and more. These case studies will demonstrate how leading organisations are Harnessing AI for Customer Experience Excellence, Effective Risk Management and Operational Efficiency.

On top of hard-hitting case studies, panel discussions and roundtable sessions, we also have 4 focused workshops which highlight everything you need to know about enterprise-wide adoption of different AI technologies.

Our content has been carefully curated through in-depth industry research so that we can focus on the most pressing issues and feature practical case studies on enterprise-wide application of AI. I’d hate for you to miss out on this chance to network with trailblazers in the AI space so please take this opportunity to explore the agenda and exciting topics that will be presented at the summit!

Thank you and I look forward to welcoming you this August!

Best Regards,

CONFERENCE DAY TWO Wednesday, 29 August 2018

14:10 Piloting your AI project – What you need to know and how to get started

Today’s hospitals are rich and complex socio-technical environments where technology and human actions are closely interwoven and patient’s health outcomes are co-dependent on the success of this interaction. Moreover, it is increasingly recognised that the patient journey takes mostly place outside of the hospital. As medical and nursing care becomes more technology-dependent, many fear that sensors, robotics, digitalisation, machine learning and artificial intelligence will take the humanity out of health care. Do we need to worry? In this session, we explore various pilot projects on how KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital used “high tech” to perform repetitive and redundant activities while enabling nursing and medical staff to focus on “high touch”. Examples of these pilot projects include smart health video consultation, pregnancy chatbots, and real-time notifications for hand hygiene performance.
