THE CONSTANT AND GROWING USE OF AGROCHEMICALS FOR WEED CONTROL GENERATES A VICIOUS CIRCLE: AT HIGHER DOSES OF WEED-KILLER, GREATER RESISTANCE DEVELOPS THE WEED TO THE PRODUCT.
Currently they are applied uniformly in the whole
lot, regardless of the existence or not of weeds,
so its use is increasingly inefficient, costly and
harmful to the environment and human health.
RESISTANCE TO WEED-KILLERS: WORLDWIDE PROBLEMWeeds that resist weed-killers and thus endanger crops, spread throughout the world. In the USA, for example, 156 distinguishable
resistant weed populations have been found, more than in any other country.
At DeepAgro we perform weed recognition in video for the application of weed-killers in an
intelligent way.
Weed recognition in video
Activation of electrovalve
Weed spraying
This allows save costs (saving water and chemical product) and take care of the environment.
We develop recognition software that uses Artificial Intelligence techniques.
DEEP LEARNING
This product can be installed in any sprayer, opening and closing the applicator valves automatically in real time.
The equipment is composed of 10 modules, each one has a video camera and a computer that recognize, in real time, the weeds and tell the sprayer when to open or close the electrovalve that allows the drop of the chemical.
The products of DeepAgro aim to generate more efficient solutions for current problems of agriculture, based on Artificial Intelligence.
We sell the 10 modules for the spraying equipment, 2 spare modules and an extra installation cost is charged for the intervention in the spraying equipment.

Between 2 and 4 applications are made with weed-killers in the presence of the crop, where the current green detection products can not be used.
Weed-killers already account for 40% of their
costs.

The future and the AI
Direct Seeding
Our advantage is that we start with a recognition software
that in the laboratory has given good results and we go
through the process of generating the minimum
viable product (MVP) that will allow us to start growing as a
company.
Our strength is Artificial Intelligence and Computer
Vision, which give us a great potential for growth in the
face of what is coming.
One of the main differences is that our system is trained to work in direct seeding while competitive systems do not.

The potential of DeepAgro lies in the possibility of continue developing solutions with artificial intelligence for the producer. From the generation of weed and crop health maps, to the intelligent combating of pests, where agrochemicals are more toxic to humans.
