About the Artist

Ashraf is born in Cairo, the capital of Egypt in 4th of January 1971. The family discovered the talent at age of 5 years old at school. He kept getting support and information from his father (who was also gifted) till he moved to Fine Arts faculty in Zamalek, Cairo 1990.

He started his studies in the graphic section there for 5 years, participating at the same time to some exhibitions in and out of Cairo.

First private & international exhibitions were in Paris – France 2011.

Second international exhibition, SCOPE Miami is calling you, Florida - USA 2013.

Many internal exhibitions in Egypt, Opera house was latest one 2014.

The artist believes that one day his work will be posted in art museums & will be famous.

Belle Vue Hotel Art Exhibition “Father & Daughter”, Beausite Marsa Matrouh 2017, After 20 years, the artists is redoing the same experience but this time he participated with his daughter with several paintings material (Acrylic, Oil pastel & Pencil). His majesty Dr. Abou Zeid Governor of Matrouh inaugurated the art exhibition.

“A painting for each house –لوحه لكل بيت”, The Palace of Arts in the Cairo Opera House organized but the Ministry of Culture and the presence of Head of Art sector in Egypt Dr. Khaled Sourour & Syndicate Manager Dr. Hamdy Abou El Maati. Another new experience with two abstract art pieces “Monkey” & “Crocodile” with all famous Egyptian artists July 2015 – Exhibition for one month in Opera House of Cairo. Two new pieces done with acrylic paintings on canvas 40x40cm –– The artist has been chosen to be part of this huge art exhibition that represents all famous artists in Egypt

My third international experience was in participating at SCOPE New York 2014 Art Contest

in April. I used to post in this event the last & new Pastel collection using numbers in creating

faces (3 pieces). The artist hopes winning the Grand Prize.

My First International experience was the “Dialogue bleu et vert” Art Exhibition. The artist added to the paintings some more extra graphic pieces about “vision of center Pompidou” – 12 rue Du Parchamp 92100 Boulogne Billancourt, France. From 30 June to 11 July 2011. Creating my latest line of art using the blue & green photographs with graphic combination related to the Pompidou Centenary in Paris as well as some acrylic paintings on canvas –– The artist has been chosen to represent Egypt in the Azmy Organization member of the ICOM in Paris in the cultural exchange between SHONA Egypt and Europe.

The Heliopolis Monthly Salon Art Exhibitions – Starting 2010, Participated with few famous artists. It is a monthly exhibition that takes place in the Salon and the artwork will be updated on monthly bases.

Fine Art Exhibition 1990 – new students, participated with other students in the first annual exhibition in Fine Arts with one painting about Egypt in white on black Canson 70x100. Ranked the in second place.
