ARTIST MANAGEMENT PLAN (Kelly B – Model) 1. Executive Summary

Kelly B is a young college student with a strong desire to reach and surpass her dream of becoming a commercial model. ELA Talent is a group of young, professional individuals that strive to help in the development process of young talent. Working with ELA Talent, Kelly is closer, now, than ever to achieving her goal of being signed to an agency. ELA’s goal is to help her develop to her immeasurable potential. Her goals are so tangible, and now, more than ever before, Kelly attempts to reach them.

2. Introduction ELA Talent (LLC) is a talent agency that strives to build relationships with their talent and continually scout for new talent all while using their passion to make careful and thoughtful decisions to better the careers and lives of all those working for them. ELA continues to grow their knowledge base by doing thorough, daily research and remaining calm when issues arise in this wonderful business. This Artists Management Plan is to assist in the development of Kelly B. Living in windy Chicago; Kelly is developing and harboring her natural talent as a model. Working with over ten photographers, as well as doing photo shoots, events, tradeshows, pageants, and fashion shows, she continues to spread her wings as she readies herself to fly to the top. Modeling for Isoberic Clothing Company, and Khojo Vintage with Shawn’Ju-Li she has experience with established designers. Her childhood dream was to become a warm, familiar face smiling back at her in a catalogue. (See Appendix A for Kelly B Interview Questions.)

3. Artist Mission Statement Kelly B's attitude and passion for modeling as well as her physical beauty makes her a perfect candidate for all she tries to accomplish.

4. Vision Statement ELA Talent will work tirelessly to ensure Kelly B is developed in the sense that she has many new photos in her portfolio, a new website for her followers, and an outline of her branding strategy for her future development.

Raised in Dunlap, the beautiful Kelly Bartram continues to grow in the amazing state of Illinois. Now located in the windy city of Chicago, Kelly is developing and harboring her natural talent as a model. Working with over ten photographers, as well as doing photo shoots, events, tradeshows, pageants, and fashion shows, she continues to spread her wings as she readies herself to fly to the top. Modeling for Isoberic Clothing Company, and Khojo Vintage with Shawn’Ju-Li she wishes to continue her network with established designers. Her dream as a child was to – one day – be the warm, familiar face smiling back at her in the catalogue she would thumb through with her mother. Kelly continues to work tirelessly until her goals are realized. The large dreams of a small-town girl are slowly becoming the realities of a stunning woman.

7. Key Players Erin McDowell: Erin brings a strong bond to any group trying to complete a goal. Having the natural skill to meet new people as well as maintain current relationships, she is a key factor to keeping groups organized and on the same page. Erin was an important part of our team with her work on Market Research and Industry Research. She set up meetings with Willow Star, an established model in Chicago. Erin is also a strong believer in setting goals and taking the measures needed to complete those goals. Luke Crawford: Luke prides himself on his networking and people skills. If there is an issue with a client, prospective client, or purchasing client Luke will be able to address the issue with poise and a calm, calculated response. His networking is far from over, but is at a substantial level for the small amount of time he has lived in the city. He can always find someone up his sleeve to help finish what needs to be done. He worked as Kelly’s Personal Manager and Booking Agent, setting up shoots and meetings with Jeff Frank to brand Kelly.

Ariel Martoia: Ariel is a very outgoing and positive person. She is not only great at networking with others around her, but she is always happy to meet a new friendly face in the industry. “Ari” will take the steps needed to make the end result the best possible and will always put her best effort forward. Ari was always at the front of every situation, ready to fix issues that were bound to happen. She always had Kelly’s brand in mind throughout this project and was sure everything met her standards before she was finished. (See Appendix B for Business Cards) (See Appendix C for Bios of Willow Star and Jeff Franko)

9. Graphics and Branding ELA Talent: ELA Talent logo is more than meets the eye. Resembling a nest with an egg, symbolizing our agency with our talent. While we are the nest; our talent is the egg. Just as an egg doesn’t hatch until it is fully developed, our talent is in our nest to reach their full potential. (See Appendix D for the logo.) Kelly B: Lifestyle modeling is not about being sexy, it is about being the person everyone wants to be. Portraying a happy, fun, loving life with every bone in her body. In Kelly’s Headshot she is embodying happiness, excitement, stability, and pure, raw beauty. Also in Kelly’s Branding, we have given her the stage name of “Kelly B”. Her real name is “Kelly Bartram,” which is difficult for people to pronounce and takes away from her overall purpose. (See Appendix E for Kelly B Headshot)

10. Training Prior to our working with Kelly, she had no formal training. We have created our own training program for Kelly. She is going to yoga classes every week to help her become more aware of her body and to assist in her fluid movements during a photo shoot. She is planning on taking Thai Chi classes in 2013. Next, we have her on P90X to keep her body toned and tight. Staying in shape also helps with her endorphins and keeps her happy and chipper! Kelly decided on her own to regularly tan to keep her complexion at a desirable tone.

11. Headshot / Critiques We did not create or collect a survey from the public. Instead, we called upon the expertise of an amazing and accomplished professional, Andrea Shipp. Much of her feedback on our agency and talent was based on all the “little” things. In this industry much of our work needs to be clean, cut, and precise. We needed to tighten things up, whether it is in the writing of our plan or the photos from our shoot. Packaging is everything and if you can present a nice piece of work you are one step ahead of the game. Andrea gave very important critiques of Kelly’s image in not only her headshot, but also in her overall facial expression and body posture throughout photo shoots. With Andrea’s opinions, we took Kelly by the hand and guided her to a better self-image. Her goal was not to be sexy but to be comfortable. With comfort comes confidence and confidence is sexy. (See Appendix E for Kelly B Headshot)

16. Web Site / Social Networking Sites Website: Kelly B now has a website. Her website has her Bio, her Stats (such as height, weight, waist, etc.) her Portfolio/Book, and a Contact Me section. This website is open to the public and can be used by industry professionals as well as the general public. Social Networking: Kelly B has a personal Facebook that we’ve made private from the general public. Kelly is still a young girl that wants to express herself on the Internet with her friends. We have set up some guidelines and rules as to how she should post publicly and to double safeguard; we have made sure her profile is private. ELA has advised Kelly to get a Twitter feed and keep it public to build and stimulate her existing fan base. (See Appendix J for links to her Facebook and Website.)

17. Charity Kelly hopes to work with charities more in the future, when she has a larger fan base and a larger base of experience. She has, however, worked in non-paid gigs such as the above listed TFP Photo shoots with Leigha Wondergem and Jeff Franko. (See Appendix F for Booking Vouchers)

18. Partnerships The above-mentioned TFP Photo shoots with Leigha Wondergem and Jeff Franko were Partnerships. (See Appendix C for Jeff’s Bio and Appendix F for Booking Vouchers of the shoots)

19. Video Reel ELA Talent has advised Kelly to make a Video Reel for use as an EPK and to use in blast emails and on her website as additional promotion material. During each TFP Shoot, we have taken some raw video of her movement and interaction with the camera and photographer. The basic timeline of the production of the video reel is to remain taking raw footage of behind the scenes of photo shoots through August of 2013, then begin production and editing phase. Implementation of Video Reel will take place sometime after December 25th, 2013.

20. SWOT Analysis of Kelly B Strengths: ~Personality in an interview ~Articulate in conversation ~Answers questions quickly and effectively “Quick on her feet” ~Comfortable in front of a camera.
