When and how did their career begin?

Jagged shore’s career began in the attic of their family home in St Albans, Hertfordshire when the members were teenagers. Firstly started off as playing cd’s and records, they became increasingly interested in mixing sounds. Gathering inspiration from their parents records from the 80’s dance, trance and garage music became a popular occurrence for them and this is what their music is based on quite a lot now. They have been featured and entered for best new garage act in Rave magazine as well as numerous other mentions.

Outfits and tour concepts

Jagged shores dress in all black to let their music do the talking. Wearing all black also lets them blend in with their set when they are playing. Black clothing is chic and represents the depths their music reaches, their logo is also black and dark colours which gives good continuity to their group. They have not yet released their own tour however they had a set in the dance tent at reading 2014 in which they were able to show what they are about and have become increasingly well known since.

How is this funded?

Clothing is mainly their own, if not it is funded by their management or money they get from appearances at clubs or events or sales of EP’s and merchandise on their website.

Fans

Fans started to rise after appearances at small events, garage clashes/gigs for instance the ‘’garage nation’’ in late 2013 and Festivals such as wireless and v festival they had small parts. Local events are also a common occurrence for the group, they appeared on the main stage at their local festival in Hertfordshire, Rhythms of the World which went down a storm. their fan base and twitter and sound cloud followers rose by at least 25,000. Set to appear at Reading and be mentioned by huge worldwide dance act Disclosure in 2015.
