Paul Gauguin[1848 - 1903]Gauguin liked to use bright & often somewhat unrealistic colors in his paintings. He interpreted nature & what he saw rather than rendering exact external appearances. He later spent a short time with Vincent van Gogh in the southern part of France. He didn’t start to paint until he was 25 years old.
