Welcome
A rt on the P eninsula is a non-profit arts organization building bridges between artists and the community by raising awareness,
fostering education, and encouraging collaboration in the arts. We seek to provide the support and resources necessary to develop
and realize the creative potential of the N orth P ortland C ommunity.
This Artists’ Showcase – our second – gives artists the opportunity to come together in an informal,
comfortable setting, to show and talk about their work.
It also serves as our lead-in tothe Altered Book Project Redux…

Frasier ZifferShowing at and Represented by
Ellen GrahamEllen has been making illustrations using
PhotoShop for about 20 years, on and off, after realizing she didn't have enough perception of
reality to be a photojournalist. While still in Brooklyn, she designed a local currency which was used for about 15 years. She is currently working on
a novella-length, hand-drawn, b/w comic and is trying to overlook her limited drafting skills. Ellen has had work in group shows in NYC and Portland
and spent a year as an illustrator for the now-defunct magazine, Nervy Girl.
