By tweaking publicity tactics, the barrier of indifference of students towards Indian culture and the like was successfully broached.
The audience tripled, thus opening a gateway to negotiate for more concerts per semester (5 on an average at present), Institute funding increased from 30,000 to 55,000 per semester; ICICI bank, Pilani has been roped in as a sponsor offering 20,000 per semester

The responsibility of hosting the annual all-India NPMASS (National program on Micro & smart systems) workshop was thus transferred from IIT, Delhi to BITS, Pilani
The extension of license usage provided a gateway for the institute to procure Educational Class—kit Academic licenses from Comsol 4.1a, IntelliSuite 8 & Coventorware 10 amounting to 41 Lakhs

Thesis Title: Impact of slang on the English language Duration: 2011 (Jan – Mar) Project Details: The proliferation of slang into the language has left the purists and the lexicographers befuddled. My aim was to study the ramifications of the same employing BITS Pilani population as my focus group.
Project Title: Propulsion mechanism of a Nano robot
Duration: 2011 (Aug-Dec) Details: The simulation was carried out with the help of COMSOL software & primarily demanded optimization of the geometry of the tail for efficient propulsion.
Project Title: Simulation of pusher type furnace using ANSYS-FLUENT
Duration: 2011 (Aug-Dec) Details: An elementary understanding of the Navier Stokes equation & the working of Fluent software.

Additional Information
My father being in a transferrable job, I’ve resided in about ten places through the course of my life. Concomitantly, my interactions with people who speak a different language, follow different social customs and hold different values has proved seminal in a better understanding of various cultures and people.
