AS3P Mission

The mission of the Association of Section 3 Professionals is to provide its members the tools necessary to ensure success of the Section 3 program and advance the goals of HUD’s mandate to provide economic opportunities for low and very low income residents.

Purpose

The purpose is to provide a forum for public housing and housing and community development professionals who are responsible for creating agency policy, implementing Section 3 plans, monitoring programs, and submitting required reports to ensure agency compliance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1968.

Objectives

The objectives of the Association are to:
