The ASC monitors the main compressor operating parameters providing information on the operating conditions and monitoring for out-of-tolerance parameters. Such as; valve failures, crosshead pin reversal, and auxiliary end torsional vibration. This system includes the following scope:

The Ariel Smart Compressor is the next generation in compression monitoring, optimization, and management. Ariel’s

Alarm and Shutdown signals are sent from the Main Module to the skid controller: Either the Murphy Centurion inside the

module or a 3rd party controller in the panel

Measured values and alarm/shutdown descriptions are available via Modbus to a 3rd party skid controller

Alarm and Shutdown set points will be programmed at default levels for shipping, and can be modified through the ASC

HMI/Display

An ASC HMI/Display and M-LinkTM module is required for ASC operation. If using a Murphy panel, the ASC display and M-LinkTM

will come pre-mounted in the panel. If using a 3rd party panel, an ASC display kit, M-LinkTM, and associated harnesses will

ship with the compressor.
