Product OverviewAscent 200 is the latest evolution of the award winning Ascent safety screen system. Designed to provide complete protection for workers and public on high rise construction projects. The Ascent 200 system has been developed in conjunction with major contractors to ensure that it provides for all your screen requirements. New features include new mast design improving strength to weight ratios and allowing construction of two wet decks and columns. Ascent screens are also slimmer in profile improving logistics and transport costs.

New Features and Benefits of Ascent 200Ascent 200 has been comprehensively engineered to offer improved performance on site, offering reduction in cycle times, reduced operational costs, and reduced logistical costs. Ascent 200 has been designed in close consultation with leading contractors from across the global construction industry to ensure that it exceeds the requirements of a debris protection system world wide.

Improved ProductivityThe new mast section offers significant strength improvements over previous Ascent masts. This enables Ascent 200 to protect two wet decks, assisting in the improvement of construction cycle times. It also allows protection to two lower slab levels enabling trades to begin work earlier on lower levels.

Reduced Crane DependencyNew hydraulic multi screen climbing option reduces reliance on crane time and enables multiple screens to be lifted on the same hydraulic cycle improving safety and efficiency.

New screen cladding optionNew Steel mesh screen cladding provides fully rentable cladding option reducing sales cost of the screens. Plastic Sheet cladding option is also available where marketing messages are required.

Improved transport efficienciesThe reduction in the profile of the screens means that additional screens can be included on a single transport, reducing cost and improving carbon footprint of the screens. Ascent 200 comes with telescopic width adjustment enabling screens to be resized for transportation.

Ascent Mast SectionThe Ascent 200 soldier has been designed to provide superior strength to weight performance. Ascent 200 can now support two wet decks including column construction within a single screen. This helps improve cycle times and site productivity.

Single Depth ProfileThe improved performance of the Ascent 200 soldier means that the screens are now delivered with single depth profiles allowing increased screens per transport, typically a 60% gain in transport efficiency.

Multiple Screen Hydraulic LiftingThe screen design incorporates improved hydraulic functionality that allows multiple screen lifts with a simple hands free operation. An integral spring loaded latch ensures safe as well as easy hydraulic lifting.

Screen VersatilityA range of accessories are available that support the use of Ascent 200 screens on a range of complex facades. From sloping facades to complex building geometries, all are accommodated with a complete debris sealing solution.

Ascent 200 Loading PlatformThe standard loading platform is a designed to facilitate the easy movement of materials from under the soffit slab, helping boost site productivity.

Two Wet Decks accommodated by Ascent 200By providing protection to two wet decks Ascent 200 halves the number of crane lifts over single wet deck debris protection systems. This frees the crane up for other duties and improves site productivity.

In DetailAscent 200 Cladding

Bespoke Printed Plastic ScreenWhere marketing messages are required a bespoke printed plastic screen can be provided. A very popular option in city center locations. The plastic screen also provides ultimate protection from the elements.

Steel Screen MeshAscent 200 introduces a steel screen mesh with a 10mm maximum aperture. This hireable option provides a complete seal around the perimeter of the building whilst still providing Category B edge protection compliant with world wide construction standards.

Telescopic Width AdjustmentBoth cladding options come with telescopic width adjustment. This means a single screen is delivered at 3m wide and can be extended onsite to 5.25m. This improves transport efficiencies and reduces the number of screens required to complete the building perimeter.

Access platformsAscent 200 screens are offset from the building with access platforms providing adjustable fitting to ensure complete debris seal whilst still accessing slab and wet decks.

In DetailSlab Fixing

Easy dismounting of the screensThe new slab bracket design incorporates jaws which allow for the screens to be removed from the mast without having to be lifted off. This can reduce the overall crane height saving time and money.

Fine Level AdjustmentThe new slab bracket allows fine level adjustment in-situ to ensure that tall screens fit accurately next to each other, promoting easy operation and safe construction without the need for shims and packing.

Slab Anchor OptionsThe anchor system has been cleverly designed to maximise the number of recoverable components to help reduce cost. The anchor systems are also capable of allowing for 40mm coverage if holes in soffit need to be minimised. All options are designed for easy and rapid deployment.

Slab Anchor Screw Jiga simple jig is available to assist in the placement of anchors in the soffit formwork. This will speed up setting out time and improve cycle times and site efficiencies.
