The static data is the information about the part that does not The static data is the information about the part that does not change regardless of how the part is used. For example, this change regardless of how the part is used. For example, this would include the quality level, rated temperature, rated power, would include the quality level, rated temperature, rated power, rated voltage, etc… Variable part data would pertain to how the rated voltage, etc… Variable part data would pertain to how the part is used. Here, we would have some of the stress data like part is used. Here, we would have some of the stress data like the applied power, applied voltage. Project defaults can be the applied power, applied voltage. Project defaults can be defined in the Component Data Manager, but otherwise, the defined in the Component Data Manager, but otherwise, the variable part data is entered in the Reliability Manager as part of variable part data is entered in the Reliability Manager as part of the prediction.the prediction.

A part cannot be added to the product tree structure or referenced in the Reliability Manager, until it is first added to a project part library. Normally this is done in the Component Data Manager, but parts can be added on the fly in the Reliability Manager or created using the Import Product_Tree.xls template.
