TRANSPORT & TICKETS The Parish has organised three buses to facilitate parishioners seeking transport to and from the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park. There are ten remaining places on the third bus. For those wishing

to avail of the service please contact the Parish Office. The bus will cost €15/person. Those who reserved a place on the buses leaving from the Parish are guaranteed a ticket through the Parish to the final Mass in the Phoenix Park which will be distributed closer to event.

Pilgrims are advised that all cars and buses will be dropped at designated bus parks in the vicinity of the Park and from there pilgrims will have to walk c. 4-5km to the Papal Cross. Anyone with special transport needs should register directly with www.worldmeeting2018.ie

Please note: Some people booked tickets for the Papal Mass individually on line and have also reserved a place on one of the buses leaving from the parish. If this is the case, the WMOF Office have advised they should cancel their original tickets by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible quoting the booking reference indicated on their confirmation email. This will free up tickets enabling others to participate in the event. Those who have booked a place on a bus are asked to pay for their seats before 27th July.

SPECIAL REQUEST The Parish received a request from a Filipino family (2 adults and 2 children) living the UK who wish to attend the WMOF from 20th-26th August. Unfortunately, they missed the deadline for registration with ’Host Families’. If anyone in the Parish can facilitate their request in any way, or wishes to know more details, please contact the Parish Office.

Parishioners are reminded that Church services

are accessible on the Parish website where the parish webcam provides continuous live streaming 24/7.

MASS TIMES The following Mass schedule will be in place in the parish the weekend of Pope Francis’s visit to the WMOF:

Saturday 25th August 8pm—Ashbourne Sunday 26th August 9am—Ashbourne

PARISH HOLY FAMILY ICON The Parish Icon of the Holy Family continues to make its way around the homes in our parish. In order to continue this unbroken spirit of prayer, additional families in the parish are invited to welcome the icon into their homes over the coming months. Families are encouraged to register through the Parish Office to host the icon for one week. Through this small gesture of prayer we are sharing ‘The Gospel of the Family—joy for the world.’

DIOCESAN DAY AT THE CONGRESS! Wednesday 22 August is the day of the congress on which parishioners from around the diocese of Meath are invited to join with parishes through the provinces of Armagh and Dublin. The programme will commence at 9am with Morning Prayer and will conclude with Mass in the RDS Arena at 4pm.

LET THE BELLS RING OUT! On Tuesday evening 21 August, parishes around Ireland will ring their church bells at 7pm to mark the official opening of the World Meeting of Families 2018.

The Parishes of the Deanery are invited to gather in St. Patrick and St. Seachnall’s Church, Dunshaughlin to celebrate Evening Prayer at 7.30pm, on Tuesday 21 August. All parishioners are invited to attend.
