Ashley’s  Student  LAshley’s  Student  L ifeife                                                            

           Cabin  Fever  Best  friends  of  three  years,  Ashley  Henry  and  Jessica  Enos  decided  after  5  days  of  being  cooped  up  in  the  house  due  to  the  snow  and  ice  storm  that  they  were  going  to  turn  the  heat  up  in  the  garage  to  about  90  degrees,  blow  up  their  little  nieces  kiddy  pool,  and  fill  it  with  hot  water.  “It  was  so  much  fun,  we  invited  friends  over,  and  we  all  just  hung  out  listening  to  music  in  our  garage”              

     Here                                  Play  Time  While  out  on  a  beautiful  day,  Ashley  Henry  takes  her  blue  healer,  Buster  out  to  their  back  yard  so  he  can  have  a  restroom  break.  “I’ve  had  Buster  ever  since  I  can  remember.    He  is  a  really  good  dog  and  he  means  everything  to  me”                          

                                         Snowed  In  Preparing  to  go  out  in  the  snow  and  ice,  Jessica  Enos,  Cody  Forbes,  and  Ashley  Henry  get  all  bundled  up  to  walk  to  Kim’s  Chicken  and  Sea  Food  to  grab  a  bite  to  eat.  “It  was  very  cold,  and  the  ice  was  really  slippery  to  walk  on,  but  we  managed  and  it  was  fun.  It  was  worth  it  except  for  the  fact  that  when  we  got  to  Kim’s,  it  was  closed.”                    

                                         Ruff  Time  Just  playing  around  with  his  two  dogs,  Timothy  Hatfield  tries  to  hold  Rocket,  a  half  pit  bull  half  boxer  while  trying  to  keep  his  Boxer,  Bruno  from  running  away.  “My  dogs  mean  everything  to  me!  Bruno  is  too  hyper  but  fun  to  play  with  and  Rocket  is  old  but  still  a  great  guard  dog”            

                                                 Playing  with  her  niece  Savannah  Southard,  Ashley  Henry  holds  her  in  the  air  laughing  as  Savannah  is  giggling  away.  “I  only  get  to  see  my  nieces  once  a  week  so  I  make  sure  to  play  with  them  as  much  as  I  can”      

                 

The  best  of  Pals  Playing  on  the  playground  is  Ashley  Henry  with  her  pals  from  David  E.  Smith  Elementary  School.  Every  Tuesday,  Ashley  along  with  five  other  Haltom  High  School  students  ride  a  bus  to  David  E.  Smith  to  play  and  talk  to  the  kids  during  their  lunch  and  recess.  “Being  a  part  of  PALS  give  you  such  a  good  feeling  knowing  your  helping  kids,  and  its  also  great  to  get  out  of  high  school  and  go  back  to  elementary  for  a  hour  a  day.”  

   All  Work,  No  Play  Talking  to  fellow  co-­‐  workers,  Alexis  Webb,  with  Manager  Aaron  Daniels  try  to  balance  out  having  fun  and  doing  their  job.  Alexis  does  many  positions  at  her  job  beside  just  being  a  host  for  “I  do  take  my  job  seriously  but  have  fun  at  the  same  time.”  Says  Alexis.            

 

Riding  the  Hog  As  they  are  leaving  their  house,  Ashley  Henry  with  father  Craig  Henry  are  leaving  their  garage  on  a  beautiful  Sunday  afternoon  to  go  out  on  a  Harley  ride.  “Harley  rides  with  my  dad  are  my  favorite.  We  always  go  to  the  stockyards  and  eat  and  shop  around”
