recognized brand, Ashoka Education Foundation, was established in the year 2012 within a

short span of 4 years, it has developed into one of the finest Management Institutes and

It is with great pleasure that we hereby present our

enthusiastic batch of MBA 2014 – 16 students who have

completed 2 years full time post graduate programme

affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University

approved by AICTE.

Ashoka Business School is set up by one of India’s

largest infrastructure project management company –

Ashoka Buildcon Limited; whose philosophies and

principles make the foundations of ABS. At ABS; we

understand the needs of the corporate

& the deliverables well to prepare the management students accordingly.

We have a curriculum designed for enhancement of entrepreneurship and employability

skills through our flagship AEEEP Program.

Ashoka Business School is located at a very well connected location on the Mumbai Agra

Highway at Nashik. We have state of the art; well-maintained infrastructure like air

conditioned classrooms, auditorium, up to date computer labs; a research centre, etc.

Our faculty is experienced & research oriented having industry exposure; who are instrumental in 360 degree development of these budding managers.

We firmly believe that our students would be able to add to the growth of your organization with their fresh outlook; lots of energy & enthusiasm and an attitude to learn new things. QAG Cell-

Formation of Quality assurance And Guidance cell is major stepping stone at AEF towards

achieving desired goal of elevating overall performance of the students.

It is possible only through ‘holistic development’ of the students into the Professional

person, through various development activities of Student’s Development programme

(SDP) to all units. This is implemented in structured manner depending on the course needs.

This is also achieved through the self -development of the educator i.e. Faculty in the well

planned Faculty Development programmes (FDP),this process of self -exploration of the

faculty ,which makes themselves competent and updated to train the student to face the

professional challenges .

Through QAG cell students are given exposure to the programmes like AEEEP(Ashoka Executives

Employability Enhancement Programme),ATEEP(Ashoka Teachers Employability Enhancement

Programme) to stdents,and faculties are trained for various Techniques like Great Teacher Method

etc.

Faculty Details

Dr. Rajendra Takale – Director:

Dr. Rajendra Takale has 18 years of academic experience and is a member of Board of

Studies for universities for JNU, Jaipur, ADTU, and Guwahati, Assam. He has an additional

industry experience of 6 plus years which includes working on various assignments across

India including in Information Technology and Automobile industry. A certified ISO auditor

from TUV; he is also trained for NBA and NAAC accreditation by NITTE, Bhopal. He has a

strong understanding of technology required in Learning Tools software, hardware,

networking and wireless & mobile. He has been a coordinator for International Assignment

of Foreign Students training sponsored by World Bank and has authored, published and

presented 12 research papers for International and National Journal, conferences and

seminars. He is an excellent teacher and has also organized and conducted Research

conferences, seminars, workshops and FDPs. He has worked with premiere management

institutes as Director and is also a member of the core committee of Dr. D. Y.Patil University.

An effective communicator with excellent leadership and management skills; he has strong

analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.

Dr. Wasudeo Bhende – Administrator:

Dr. Wasudeo Bhende is a thorough educationalist, veteran anthropologist, perfect

administrator. Having secured a Ph.D. in Basic science (Physics), he has reached many

laurels during his marathon career of 35 years. He has been instrumental in the process of

developing educational environment in North Maharashtra. He has shaped up careers of

generations of professionals through various methods of management training. Being

associated earlier with number of committees of SPPU and other bodies, having delivered

result oriented services to renowned institutes like Dr. Moonje institute of Mgmt. & others ,

he has proved his position in academia. He also adds value to social aspect as he is on

director boards of financial institutes like Vishwas Co-op. Bank ltd.

Dr. Archana Ghatule: Professor Dr. Archana Ghatule holds a variety of rich qualifications like PhD, MCA, MMS, DBM and B.Sc. She has attended an MDP at IIM Ahmedabad and has also worked on different Academic, Research and Examination committees of Shivaji University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Solapur University, Solapur. She has 10 international publications; has presented around 25 papers in various conferences while having attended around 20 workshops. She is the Editor in Chief of Indian Journal of Research in Management, Business and Social Sciences (IJRMBSS), Member of Editorial Advisory Board of International Journals of Multidisciplinary Research Academy (IJMRA), International Journal of Management and Social Sciences Research (IJMSSR)

Science And Information Technology (IJRCSIT) Prof. Manisha Bhamre – Assistant Professor:

Prof. Manisha Bhamre is a B.Sc, L.L.B, MPM graduate with

a diploma in Cyber Law. She is currently pursuing a PhD

from B.A.M.U. Expert trainer in communication skills, she

has an international publication and 4 national

publications. An avid trekker and a cyclist; with Nashik

Cyclists Foundation.

Prof. Ajay Shukla – Assistant Professor:

Professor Ajay Shukla is a multi faceted research oriented

academician with 7 years with industry and academia

experience. He has published 18 research papers and 1

book to his name; out of which many papers have been

ranked for 10 downloads at SSRN New York or won best

paper awards. Professor Shukla is a research scholar at

University of Pune carrying out a research on Capital

Markets and is associate editor of an international

research journal. He has been part of coordinator and

execution of various seminars, conference, FDP & equally

has been actively participating

in work assignments of University of Pune. He is also Centre coordinator for NSE’s NCCMP

Nashik City Centre at ABS. Another noble task Professor Ajay Shukla is on to is to promote

financial literacy under the aegis of being a FE Resource person for the Securities &

Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

Prof. Hemant Wanjare – Assistant Professor:

Professor Hemant Wanjare is an awarding winning

Manager with a passion for education, after a successful

career in the corporate sector, he moved to core

academics. He believes in experimental & practical

teaching learning methods, and has invented a unique

methodology of teaching theoretical subjects thought

field assignment’s and group activities. He specialises in

marketing and entrepreneurship development and has

over 15 years of combined experience in corporate and

education. He is an author of two books one being a

“Case Study on Entrepreneurs of Nasik”. He has authored eight research papers and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. form the North Maharashtra University. He has been a member of the delegation for quality improvement to Sydney

Institute & JBIMS. He has successfully implemented the case study method teaching

methodology in association with Harvard business school publishing.

Prof. Dr. Shilpa Bhalgat – Assistant Professor:

Prof. Dr. Shilpa Bhalgat has a BHMS degree along

with PGDHM, MHA and MBA. She has completed

PG Course in Quality Management & Accreditation

of Healthcare Organizations of AHA& courses in

Six Sigma, services marketing &Project mgmt.

With a rich experience in Hospitals, Industry and

educational institutions, she has been an

Academic Head at CHHRD- Vocational Training

Partner of HSSC- NSDC and member of Industry

Academia Interface of Symbiosis International

University.She is currently the Academic

Coordinator at Ashoka Institute of Health Care- Dept of

Healthcare Administration – MUHS

Prof. Vaibhav Bhalerao – Assistant Professor:

Prof. Vaibhav Bhalerao holds a post graduate degree in

Analytical Chemistry along with an MBA in Marketing

Management. He is pursuing a Ph.D in the Marketing

Management. Having a rich industrial experience and has

been into teaching for the past 14 years. He has been

involved in teaching students at premier management

institutions like Narsee Monjee Institute of Management

Science etc. and his research interests include Consumer

Behaviour, Branding and Advertising.

Prof. Vishakha Waikar – Assistant Professor:

Prof. Vishakha Waikar holds a graduation degree in Physics and a Management degree in Production and Materials Management. She is a teaching and training professional with a certification in Neuro Linguistic

Programming, Time based techniques and Hypnotherapy from

Dr. David Lincoln, UK. She started her career with Drive India

Enterprise Solutions Limited; a Tata Enterprise; as Training

Head for pan India operations. Prof. Vishakha Waikar has been

a management faculty and trainer and has trained in the

Logistics & Supply chain, Electrical and educational industries.

With 2 national publications; her total training delivery exceeds

2000 hours for all management levels. Regularly being invited

as trainer for personality development, stress management, goal

setting at other institutes.

Prof. Pooja Kushare: Assistant Professor:

Prof. Pooja Kushare holds an MBA – Finance from Pune

University and has a blend of corporate and academic

experience having worked with RSPH and PNS Corporate

services before taking up an academic career. She has

an experience of Auditing at organisations like UCO

bank, Punjab national bank, Pantaloons and Thomas

cook. Prof. Kushare has worked as full time faculty at

Fravashi international having exposure in teaching

international curriculum of Cambridge university.

Industry Interface- (AEEEP)-

ASHOKA EXECUTIVE’S EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME- It’s a unique effort, and vision of our Chairman. The (AEEEP) forms an important component

of education at Ashoka Business School (ABS).

It is an attempt to bridge the gap between the academic institution and corporate world. It

is a simulation of real work environment, requires that the students undergo the rigor of

professional environment both in form and substance.

In the process, it provides an opportunity for students to satisfy their inquisitiveness to
