Featured module: Canberra intensiveThe Canberra intensive is a core part of the Asialink Leaders Program and is consistently ranked as a program highlight. The intensive is an exclusive five-day module exploring the pressing policy challenges facing Australia in the region. It provides unparalleled access to high-profile thought leaders and decision makers from business, government, the arts, community sector and academia who drive the Australia-Asia relationship. With dynamic sessions held at a range of iconic venues, including Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial and foreign embassies, participants have the opportunity to explore contemporary topics and trends. Key areas of discussion across the five days may include: How foreign policy is shaped in Australia, the inner workings of Parliament House, soft power and cultural diplomacy, business and innovation, and leadership and diversity in action. “It has been fantastic to be in the Nation’s capital where it’s all happening in foreign policy and diplomacy … I work in this space, in international engagement, and it has really amplified my thinking around the work that I do. How to applyEnrolment is through a merit-based application process. Numbers are capped to ensure diverse and intimate class sizes.

The application process involves:

1. Written application - we ask you to submit an online form to help us assessyour application.

2. Interview - after your application has been reviewed you may be invited toan interview.

Applications are submitted online via our website.
