March Workshop
“Right sizing Inventory =
bottom line cost $aving$”
• Question: Inventory management is critical to keeping your overall costs down but you need the right amount to make revenue. How do you balance the two?
• Answer: Kanban!
• The presentation will show how this material replenishment process is scalable, how it can be used for suppliers as well as interplant transfer, and overseas locations. Dynisco LLC implemented this initiative last year and reduced their active inventory by 47% (~ $800K).
BOSCON – Apr 23 & 24, 2013• The Global Responsibility/Sustainability track will
examine how professionals apply management systems, process improvement, performance excellence and other quality tools to contribute to the sustainability of their company and the communities that they live in.
• In the Workforce of the Future track, we will look at how
we are educating our future quality practitioners and how we are constantly improving our lifelong learning through certifications and training others. How are we dealing with the rapid expansion of information and the impact of accelerating technology change that puts pressures on organizations to improve the knowledge and skills of the workforce?
BOSCON – Apr 23 & 24, 2013• An Aging Population will need different kinds of
healthcare services and medical devices. Demographers predict that by 2025 the majority of the people will be 65-plus. They will demand new lifestyle options with new products and services to meet these needs. How will we improve the agility needed by companies to move towards products and services that may currently be in their infancy?
• What is clear about Innovation is that it is increasingly
becoming the lifeblood of an organization. Companies are including innovation in their strategies, annual reports, marketing literature and in their assessments of their leaders. How are we working to make this happen?
