2. CHANGES AT TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION

• probably the most efficient TS and A (number of TSA staff/budget or total

number of employees)

• after leave of ing. Grufíková – nobody was hired

• the situation is now hardly manageable

• since April 2016 – new account officer

• since Sept 1, 2016:

Evaluation 2010 – 2014:

so far the best evaluation of research teams in Czech basin since the Stone Age…

• professional bibliography and scientometry at I. phase

• normalization of size of evaluated teams

• normalization of interdisciplinary differences (IF, citations)

• true experts in evaluation boards

• translucent procedure and finally results made public

BIG THANKS!

• research teams in IEB are maybe more dependent on grants

• probably reduced and more efficient technical and administration unit


• IEB: the highest ratio IF papers/subsidy

• long-term truth, moreover the differences are increasing:

• number IF papers in IEB during 2010-2014 1.49 x higher then 2005-2009


• peer review in Evaluation 2010-2014:



• quality of journals in which we publish our papers


• Quality of journals – papers in excellent journals (the best decil)


• citations:

• papers IEB – last 10 years (WOS):

• IEB ca 17,4 ths. citations

• the highest institutional h-index (60) among institutes in our section


• Citations – excellently cited papers (the best decil)

• long-term view: 30-40 % papers with corresponding author from IEB

• is it enough?

• last two years: proportion of corresponding papers slightly increased

• corresponding papers are in average weaker
