devices• Your learners use ICT devices such as computers, mobile

phones, iPods, tablets and game consoles. They access the Internet and make use of social networking sites. However, there are acceptable and unacceptable ways of using them.

• To help your fellow teachers and the learners know about the acceptable ways of using ICTs, create an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for your school, addressing issues such as: ICT devices available to learners;the expected behaviour of learners in the process of using

such devices; andtheir rights and responsibilities as users.

• Find an example of AUP online

Your booklet should address the following:definition of copyright and explanation of its necessity;examples of copyright products;illustrations of examples of copyright infringements;discussion of possible consequences of copyright

infringements; andguidelines on how to avoid copyright infringement,

including ways to properly cite any text or graphics that are used.
