5.0STRENGTHS OF THE PROGRAMME
The programmed was a success. This is due to few factors. The factors are:
i.
The support of co-operation from the headmaster of Sk Sungai Buaya, the
assistant senior of kurikulum and all the English Panel teacher. Without their co-
operation it would be impossible to organize this camp.
ii. The co-operation amongst the UIA students did a well done job in doing their
participants to make this camp successful.

iii. The financial support from the PIBG of SK Sungai Buaya was also one of the
factor that helped made this camp a successful one.
iv. The successfully of the programmed also due to differently by carrying out this
activity at the different venue. The different environment to the pupils and the
give their chance experiencing learning session with different speakers or
teachers as the guest speakers itself.
6.0WEAKNESS OF THE PROGRAMME
Although the programmed was successfully, there was a few downside of it. Theweaknesses were:
i. There are no parents involved in this camp such as prepared the foods for the
pupils, etc. If there are participants from the parents, the camp will be more
meaningful to the pupils.
ii. Disturbance of pupils especially from the weak class. This is due to lack of
interest in the subject as it in English. Most of the students are quite weak in this
subject so they found it difficult to focus during the talk.
7.0SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATION
The English Camp was successfully going on. However, some suggestion will make the
English Camp more achieve to their objectives. Some suggestions and recommendations
for the next camp are:
i. The participants from the parents in the camp such as the parents prepare the
foods for the pupils, etc. The camp will meaningful to the pupils and the school
when the parents involved in the programmed. It also gives the motivation to the
pupils as a moral support from the parents.

ii. The weaker pupils were difficult to focus to the talk given. For the next camp, it is
suggested to divide into two groups to make sure the pupils are paying more
attention when the talk is given. The talk also can aim to the technique of
answering for the weaker pupils.
8.0CONCLUSION
Hopefully by this activity will prepare the pupils before they are facing their major
examination. It is hoped that the pupils gain so much knowledge and information that are
essential for the examination. The collaboration with another institution should be carry
on on the future because it does not only give benefits to the pupils and students of both
parties, but it also gives benefits to the administration and organizer itself. With this
collaboration, it can increase the management or coordination of programmed in the
future by exchange opinion and ideas. It also can strengthen the relationship between both
parties. It is also hoped that the pupils will take advantages and benefits out this activity
as they are about to face UPSR examination.

As the international language, it is important for the pupils to learn and master in English.
To ensure the next generations are not left behind, it is necessary to stress on the
importance of learning and mastering English at the first stage of learning, especially for
primary pupils. To ensure the good performance, SK Sungai Buaya pupils, a clear
guideline programmed has to be set up in order to monitor the performance and
development of pupils especially in PKSR and UPSR. In order to achieve the vision, all
the English teachers are committed to create awareness among the pupils towards the
importance of English Learning. The English panel of SK Sungai Buaya has carried out
the Public Speaking program. Public speaking, although widely reviled, is a uniquely
valuable skill to possess. A good public speaker will net a number of advantages that
those who continue to quake and stutter will not be able to grab for themselves. Although
public speaking is not necessarily easy, it is inevitably valuable. Those who develop
public speaking skills really do gain some significant rewards for their efforts.
2.0AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF PROGRAMME
SK Sungai Buaya believed that :
i.
This is one of the better ways to gain self-confidence and a sense of satisfaction.
ii. Think of the sense of fulfillment one can gain from being able to proudly
announce their views or positions to a group.
iii. There is something intrinsically rewarding about being able to teach others en
masse, or to communicate with many people at once exactly what is on ones
mind.
iv. The public speaking programproposed to be carried out will prepare the pupils
who would be future leaders of the nation to be confident and well respected in
the sense of voicing out their views and ideas and also to prepare them towards
improving their speaking.

where they had to put a cross on the names of their favoured participant.
Only on cross should be present on the ballot papers.
The percentage of each participant had calculated with the teachers votes
and the marks given by the panel selected by the school. This practice had
conducted throughout the 5 weeks of competition where the names of the

6.0STRENGTHS OF THE PROGRAMME
i. The support of the co-operation from all the teachers especially from the
headmaster was one factor that the school programmed was gain the
achievement.
ii. The co-operation amongst all the English teacher was also one of the factors that
enables the pupils to take part in the programmed.
iii. Motivation from the English class teacher also helps the pupils to feel more
confident to be a public speaker.
7.0WEAKNESS OF THE PROGRAMME
i. The quality of the PA system makes the public speaker voice not too clear. It
makes pupils to repeat again what they have said. This situation cannot draw the
audience into the massage.
ii. A few of the public speakers did not know what is want to shared and did not
presented with the confidence.
8.0SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATION

13
In order to make Public Speaking Programmed more successful in the future, the
English Language Panel would like to give some suggestion and recommendation.
Firstly, the PA system must be upgraded for the best quality of presentation. Secondly,
the public speaking programmed can divided into two categories which are for the
excellent class and the weaker class.
9.0CONCLUSION
One such benefit is that the public speaker creates an aura of confidence. We tend to
perceive public speakers to be a confident lot. Those who look and perform comfortably
as public speakers create an impression of great self-confidence. Not only is an
impression created, a reality is established, too. Public speaking is actually a great way of
building self-confidence. Those who feel they have a real self-confidence deficit should
consider public speaking as a way of overcome their problem. English Language Panel of
Sk Sungai Buaya believed that even in our technological age the need for public speaking
does not diminish and people will always rather see a person live, than just listening to
audio. It is hoped that Public Speaking programmed will get the students to be greatleaders of our nation and help change the world into a better place. This could be
accomplished of the proper technique in conveying messages and communication could
be implemented thus ensuring better understanding of delicate matters which sometime
was misunderstood due to poor presentation of ideas to the masses. English Language
Panel also believed that Public Speaking will also enhance the confidence level of the
students thus making them more marketable to the corporate world of today. Lastly, with
the cooperation of all involved, it is hoped that Public Speaking will be synonymous
with SK Sungai Buaya where when one talks about the ability to speak in public, they
will think of SK Sungai Buaya.
