THE DISCUSSION TOPICS WILL BE POSTED IN YOUR 'GROUP FORUM'.

FOR YOUR REFERENCE THE 5 TOPICS ARE AS GIVEN HERE:

1.       Provide some of the characteristics of your own students as ESL learners. Discuss how your students are similar or different with at least one other course-mate’s students.

2.       Provide some examples of how you have integrated technology into your literacy activities.

3.       How can you as teachers provide lots of repetition of the English language around the child in the primary classroom?

4.       Describe at least one game that you have used during your English language lessons. What were the strengths and weaknesses (if any) of the game/s?

5.       Describe how you can help your students become better readers.

ASSIGNMENT 3 (LESSON-PLAN) (20%) Prepare a lesson plan based on a story that you have chosen; for example- ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. The lesson should focus on reading skills such as addressing comprehension and vocabulary. The lesson plan should be completed based on the format given. YOU MUST ALSO include your appendices(handouts, materials).
