The students are required to investigate and prepare a report on the policies and initiatives of the government on infrastructure development projects and its implications to the construction sector, other sectors and the national economy. The time frame of  your investigation is from 8 th until 9 th Malaysian Plan (2000 to 2010) Main sections of the report should include: 1. The government through its policies and programmes play their role by providing holistic initiativestowards sustaining the growth of Malaysian economy. In the construction  sector the initiatives areto stimulate high impact economic projects and economic activities in ensuring stable growth of the

construction GDP contribution to the economy.

Requirements and Format of Report:1. Times New Roman, font – 12, 1.5 spacing

Your report must include supplementary sections:a. Contentsb. Conclusion/ summary

c. List of references (Proper citation and referencing is compulsory using Harvard styleof references)

2. Your report must at least based on five references

BRIEF

1. Students should group themselves into a maximum of four (4) members per group. Withinthe group, each student should prepare an individual report based on one of the

listed main sections. Therefore, you should discuss with each other the informationto be included in each of your report to ensure continuity of information. Pleasenote that each report must include its own supplementary sections.

2. Only 2 persons will present the report on behalf of the group

3. Presentation time is 15 minutes using not more than 10 slides (main slide)

4. The presentation is scheduled at week 14.

5. Submission date is at week 14 before presentation starts.
