NOTE: All students are to complete this coursework in groups of 6-7 persons. Choose a

leader from amongst group members

1. This coursework is a study of Job and Personality, ie. what personality type prefers to do

what job. To measure personality, use the Big 5 Personality questionnaires found in Ch. 2,

George and Jones (5th or 6th Ed.) as your instrument. BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER,

ALL CLASS REPS OF GROUPS TAKING THIS COURSE ARE TO MEET AND DISCUSS

THE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS/ITEMS TO ASK/ADD IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE YOUR

STUDY OBJECTIVE. THEN COMPILE THE QUESTIONNAIRES IN A BOOKLET AND

PRESENT 1 MOCK-UP COPY TO ME by 10 April 2015 FOR APPROVAL.

2. Your population of study is office workers. Your study sample should consist of a

minimum of 30 subjects selected using the convenient sampling method. Submit completed

questionnaires to me upon request.

3. Write a report covering at least: an introduction and literature review of the subject matter,

method, analysis and discussions of result, conclusions and bibliography.

4. The report should not be more than 10 pages long, excluding diagrams and appendices.

5. It should be written in MS Word, single spacing, Arial font size 12.

6. Submission: as an attachment to an email from the group leader’s own account bearing

the subject heading as:

BCM554 J&P CW: <Class Group> <Name of group leader> (<Matric. No.>)

Class group should be written as 5A, 5B, 5C, etc, as the case may be.

The body of your email should contain:

<Names (as in IC) of all group members and matric card numbers – group leader’s

details at the top.>

Information of group members should also appear on the front page of your coursework.

7. You should submit your coursework as an attachment to submissions.ama@gmail.com by

4pm, 12 May 2015. Late submissions may incur penalties. Ensure that all group

members get a copy of the email sent. All group members, not just the leader, are jointly and

severally responsible for ensuring that the email is sent on time and to the right address.

8. You are not allowed to make multiple submissions. No acknowledgements will be given of

your submission. You should be able to know if your submission is successful by checking

that a copy of your email is in your SENT folder. Do not delete it for at least 9 months.

9. Marks may be deducted for not following the rules stated herein.
