WHAT CAN I EXPECT WITH THE TEAS TEST?

The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is designed specifically to assess a student's

preparedness entering the health science fields. Most likely, you’ve been asked to take the TEAS as

part of your basic admissions requirements for nursing or allied health school. That’s because studies

show a consistent link between a student’s performance on the TEAS and future academic success.

*Students applying for the Navarro College ADN program MUST pass Reading Comprehension with

minimum of 72.4 points, Math with 68.6 points, and Science with 57.2 points, to be eligible for

admission.

Students may take the TEAS test twice during each application cycle- March 1, 2019 through

Application deadline for 2020 admission. Only one set of scores will be accepted.
