Dear Prof. Jayaram:
Association of Machines and Mechanisms (AMM) is a professional society that has been
active for over three decades in India. Its most recent registered address was in 11T-Madras.
Currently, the President of AMM, Prof. C. Amarnath and Vice President (G. K.
Ananthasuresh) are currently in Bengaluru. So are two other active leaders in the field,
Profs. Ashitava Ghosal and Dibakar Sen. Hence, AMM plans to have its address in
Bengaluru. This is to request you to permit using "Mechanical Engineering in IISc" as the
address. Please note that no physical space is required for AMM on the IISc campus.
Please permit us to use the IISc address to re-register AMM in Bengaluru.
G. K. Ananthasuresh
