WHAT IS ASTHMA?
Asthma is a disease caused bythe inflammation of the bronchiolesand airways, characterized byvarying and recurring symptoms, including airflow obstruction and bronchospasm.Common symptoms include wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE ASTHMA?
People have asthma when they have an infection, for
example, when someone has a cold or due to an
allergy. This provokes an inflamation or infection of
the bronchioles.
