A good team

Before entering the Elite Four get Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres.Train all of them to around level 60-70.

Also try to get Squirtle as a starter.It can also come out very handy if you have a Ditto around level 60because he has the move transform and he will be able to change in theopponent's 1st pokemon, but be careful, he has only 5pp of each move!

Also get a fire-type pokemon (only if you have chosen squirtle as astarter)for the champions Venusaur.

To catch deoxys go to one of the rainbow islands find a tree with a trianglepointing to it a press A on it and it will start spinning do not touch thecorners now if the triangle is pointing to the tree the island will start movingthen the tree will turn into deoxys.

the ones you want to be grown up in the day care and to either theunderground passage thing by lavander or to giovanni's gym in viridian. for the underground passage go into it by way of the steps ( you will notice uhold the "left" button to go down them) now you need like a piece of tape or soemthing to hold the button down and the charger for the gba and leave iton over night or jus for along time. you will go back and and forth in thetunnel. this does seem pointelss but you are really gaining steps. and for each step you take, your pokemon in the daycare gaine 1 exp point. this issimiliar to gio's gym when you walk in you know theres those spinny things.go to the one where theres a yellow platform like 2 steps in front of it. nowyou need to hold the button down again( but this time its the "up" buttonthat needs to be pressed) and you will juss go back and forth once againgaining steps. i did this and all my pokemon that i tried it on leveled up butmore than others according to the levels i put them in the day care to begin

Keep your pokemon awake in battle

If you have already obtained the poke flute, than you can use it anytimeyou want in battle. no joke, use the poke flute during battle and your pokemon will awake. (but it will also awaken the foe's pokemon if it issleeping) but this is awesome, use this hint anytime you want.

Legendary Dogs (Pokemon: Fire Red)

The legendary dog that you get in the game depends on your starter.Charmander: Suicune (Water)Squirtle: Raikou (Thunder)Bulbasaur: Entei (Fire)To get all 3 Legendary Dogs, get together with 2 friends before any of youstart the game. Have one player get Charmander,another get Squirtle, andthe other get Bulbasaur. Each of you will get one of the legendary dogs:Charmander, Suicune; Squirtle, Raikou; and Bulbasaur, Entei. Once each

of you has their own dog, trade one dog for another. For example, player one's Suicune for player two's Entei; player three's Raikou for player one'sEntei; and Player three's Raikou for player two's Suicune.

To get a Master Ball you have to have gotten the Tea from the Old Lady inPokemon Mansion(first floor front entrance). After you get to Saffron City,

train your Pokemon until they are around Level 30-35 so when you faceyour Rival they will be all around level 40. After you get the card key, godown to the 2nd floor and go to a room all the way on the left. Step on oneof the teleport tiles and it will take you to a small room with a man who willgive you Lapras and your Rival. AFter you fight your rival and get theLapras go into the teleportation tile and it will take you to the eleventh floor where you will fight Giovanni(Team Rocket Boss) and a Rocket Grunt. YOushould be able to wipe out Giovanni if you have a really powerfull water or grass pokemon (Blastoise or Venusaur). After defeating Giovanni go chatto the President and he will give you the Master Ball. Master Ball will catchany Pokemon without fail and no matter what the HP. Also, you shouldsave the Master Ball until you get to either the THree Legendary Dogs or Mewtwo.

Metal Coat and Up-Grade

GBA Cheat by: Cheat Code Master Metal Coat and Up-Grade are really fun to use on your Pokemon. Metal

Coat can only be used on Onix and Scyther. If you have an Onix or Scyther hold the Metal Coat and trade them over to a Ruby/Saphire game they willevole into Steelix (Onix), or Scizor (Scyther). If you do the same thing onlywith the Up-Grade with a Porygon it will turn into Porygon2. You can findthe both of them on Island Five. The Metal Coat is near the Onix Memorial,and the Up-Grade is in the Rocket Warehouse.

The real place to find Moltres is to get to First Island(after u beat Blaine Billwill take you there),go to the island with M.Ember, and keep going through

each part until u see a giant red bird(A.K.A. Moltres).

More than one attempt when catching a Legendary Pokemon

When you are close to a Legendary Pokemon and want to catch it, savethe game just before you battle it. If you accidentally make it faint, Justreset the game and try again.

More time in the Safari Zone *Pokemon: Fire Red*

In the safari zone , stand in any grassy area. Instead of moving left andright, just tap left or tap right so that your character turns but you dontmove. By doing this, you will still run into random encounters but your timein the safari zone will not decrease.

Elemental Attacks (Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and Hydro Cannon): Obtainedfrom a move tutor in Rainbow Island 2. However, he will only teach your stater Pokmon one of these attacks according to its type.

Body Slam: Obtained from a tutor on Rainbow Island 4.

Swords Dance: Obtained from a man located on the pier of Rainbow Island7.

*** Some of these moves can be taught multiple times, others only once.So choose wisely.

Powerful Fire, Water, And Grass Moves

If you want to have a really strong team to prepare for the Elite Four, andyou have all 3 starter pokemon, you should have venusaur learn FrenzyPlant and SolarBeam, Charizard learn Blast Burn and Fire Blast, andBlastoise learn Hydro Cannon and Hydro Pump. Blast Burn, Hydro

Cannon, and Frenzy Plant are like the fire, water, and grass versions of Hyper Beam and cause as much damage as Hyper Beam (not countingweaknesses and strengths).

Quick Level Up Pokemon for the Elite Four



When you have started the game and you are at Cerulean City, go to theday care! Give one of your Pokemon to the Daycare Guy. Make sure thatthat pokemon has a decent level (25 and above). Leave the pokemon inthe daycare until you are almost at the Elite Four. Pick up the pokemon andthe pokemon is ready for the Elite Four!

Fixing The Network Machine/Trading With Ruby And Sapphire/GettingMewtwo

To do this you have to have beaten the elite four with 60 pokemon andProfessor Oak will give you the National Dex.

Go to Island One and talk to the scientists near the machine. Go north(^) tothe Mountains and you should see two Team Rocket guy next to a cave.Walk up to them and they'll battle with you. Now enter the cave.

Going throught this cave is very easy, you can go wrong. Go until you see

a red gem in the middle of the floor on something. It will say that you gotRuby. Take it back to the scientists and he'll give you the Rainbow Ticket.The Rainbow ticket will allow you to got to Islands 1 through 7.

Now you have to go for the Sapphire but you have to go to Island 4 first.Head East(->) until you see a cave. You should need to get Waterfall in thiscave before moving on. Save before trying to get waterfall north(^) of theentrance. It's kinda simple to get the HM so you can try it. You'll know whenyour close when you reach a Mini Puzzle. Ok, now head down then up andu should see a Pokeball containing Waterfall. Collect it and teach it tosomeone because your going to need it. Exit that part and head to where uenter and surf up the water where the Waterfall is. Use Waterfall and ushould go up.

Now head for the ladder. Go on forward and you'll see Lorelei and TeamRocket. Approach them and you'll be in a battle with one of the member.He just has some Zubats and a Goldbat. After beating him, they'll leave.Now talk to Lorelei and now head back to Island 6.

Now you have to go for the Sapphire. Go to the pokemon center and healand stuff. Now go East to until you see reach the Grassy. This is prettystraight forward. Just go until you reach a Cave that's sealed with MetalDoors.

Walk up to the door and press A. Now use cut and door will open. You'llsee a hole. Enter it and you'll drop down. You'll be in a room with 4 holes



up, down, left, and right of you. You need to go down the right holes to getthe Sapphire. Even if you go down the right room, they'll look alike until youreach the Sapphire. Now head down the holes in the following orders:Go Up, You'll fall down, Now go Left, You'll fall down, Now go Right, You'llfall down, Finally go Down, and you'll see the Sapphire. Approach it click aand you'll see a scientist fall down and he'll steal it from you. Now HeadBack To Island 5 To Get Back The Sapphire.

After the sailor takes you there, come out and head Left Ypu should reacha Grassy Area called "Five Isle Meadow". Navigate your way through thegrass until you reach a Warehouse (Team Rocket's Warehouse). Click onthe door and it will open and you may enter.

Special Training Regiments: Increased Effectiveness! Head for Viridian Gym. You should have already beaten Giovanni. Talk tohim and he will disappear. Give it to your pokemon during training!Recommended for High- Speed Pokemon.

Special Training Regiment: Electric-Type Pokemon This is how I got my Raichu to Lv100. Head to fuchia and go right. If youdon't detour you will come to a corner. "Twins Kiri and Jan" will be there,look farther right. Battle with "Bird Keeper Benny", whom you should havebattled once before. He will use 2 Lv49 Fearow, so don't use low-levels,only at least Lv45 Electric- Types. Keep Battling him and soon your Electric- Type will be very High-Leveling.

Special Training Regiment: Fire- Type Pokemon Once You Have The Rainbow Pass,head for Seven Island. Go down until

you see two Pokemon Rangers standing next to each other.(They can be

found in the "Canyon Entrance".) If you have previously battled these

trainers, you will need a VS Seeker. Use it while you are near them and

battle with them. Make sure your fire-type knows Flame Wheel,

Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Blast Burn, Fire Punch, ect. NOTE:ember is not



one of the recommended moves, only moves acc at least 75 and Power at

least 50. The Girl uses 2 Vi

at any time during the game
