    Potential employees must be well-skilled in the accounting and finance arenas. Candidates possessing SAPR/3 background can expect to expand their knowledge of the product and provide valuable guidance to thecompany.     Information Technology

    SAP R/3 is the latest in ERP software. Ranbaxy runs SAP R/3 ERP software. Qualified candidates will have atleast two years IT experience, complete working knowledge of the Windows Operating System, networkingand other software packages including SAP R/3.

    Sales and Marketing

    The Sales divisions including Brand, Generic, and OTC Sales call on targeted hospitals, wholesalers,distributors and large retail chains to sell a variety of Ranbaxy products.

    Candidates seeking a marketing career should possess outstanding communications skills and have at leasttwo years of previous marketing experience coupled with a bachelor's degree in business or marketing.

    Business Development

    Business Development seeks and evaluates business and product opportunities for Ranbaxy. Prospectivecandidates should have a maximum of a bachelor's degree, an advanced degree preferably coupled with ascientific background and strong financial and quantitative skills.

    Creative Services

    The Creative Services Department serves as an in-house resource for creative solutions responsible for thecreation and design of packaging, advertising and collateral material.

    Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance

    Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance focuses on the science and activities relating to the detection,assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems.

    Candidates seeking a position in Drug Safety should have 1-2 years Drug Safety experience in thepharmaceutical industry. Medical candidates seeking a position in Drug Safety should have a relevant collegedegree in a health related field; holders of Pharmacist (RPh), MS, PharmD and MD degrees are highlypreferred.

    Regulatory

    The Regulatory team plays critical roles throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through productcommercialization. The team provides strategic, tactical and operational direction and support for workingwithin regulations to expedite the development and delivery of safe and effective products for the healthcaresystem. Continuous changes in the regulatory environment, as well as new science shape the dynamic andexpanding scope of the Regulatory team. Regulatory employees must continually grow their knowledge andskills to be effective and to advance in their careers. Most individuals enter the Regulatory profession withprior relevant professional experience and many have previous experience in scientific and clinical research,clinical laboratory work, clinical professions such as medicine or pharmacy, quality and manufacturing.

    The Management Trainee Programme

    In order to bring consistent growth, sustainability and novelty to our business operations we at Ranbaxyfollow a special Management Trainee Programme.

    This programme aims at developing and nurturing young talents identified from premier ManagementInstitutes of the country and trains them to excel in their respective area of specialization through on-job-trainings. Both behavioral and Functional trainings are imparted to them. They are put into diverse fields ofbusinesses and challenging assignments which enables them to be fully prepared to tackle any businesschallenges of tomorrow thereby moulding them to be our future leaders.     Management Trainees are provided with live projects which expose them to the various facets of businessrealities. They are not only under rotation in different fields of activities during their tenure but also work inCross Functional Teams exposing them to deal with inter-related, complex and critical activities ofbusiness. Specific project assignments are also given under supervision and guidance of seniormanagement members and periodic progress is monitored.     Throughout the process, hand-holding and guidance of Global OD Function ensures all management Traineesmake most out of their unique learning experience. After successful completion, a special evaluationcommittee constituted conducts merit driven evaluation of their results and performance under differentprojects. Based on their overall performance of the entire training period, they are regularized as Managersand accommodated into various departments of the organization. This unfolds the second phase of theirjourney of learning and achievements.
