Porter, W8KYZ Scholarship Honoring Michael Dougherty, W8LSE After a review of hundreds of scholarship ap- plications from radio amateurs seeking to pursue advanced education, the 2010 awards have been made to 70 qualified students representing more than $100,000 in scholarships, including four students who are studying with support from the William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship. The 2010 award of the William R. Goldfarb Memo- rial Scholarship was made to Kyle Ebersold, KB1MNN. The 2010 awards will help young hams studying electronics, engineering, communica- tions, computer technology and related subjects.
