The PS535F from Getac is the epitome of robust data acquisition terminals; it combines the powerful features of out-

door MDAs with a particularly compact housing conforming to military standards. In addition to it being the smallest

handheld device of its class, it features all interfaces needed to ensure successful and reliable use in the field, in indus-

try and logistics, and even in the worst temperature conditions.

Equipped with a 533 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM and 2 GB flash memory, it provides sufficient resources at all times.

Its integrated SD card slot allows for memory extension up to 16 GB, through which such functionality makes even in-

tensive data processing and storage of substantial data volume possible.

Data entry is carried out in two possible ways: either using the 8.9 cm (3.5'') transflective TFT-LCD touch screen with 480

x 640 pixels resolution (VGA), which is readable even in sunlight, or via programmable hot keys and 5-way navigation

key. Furthermore, contactless data collection is achieved through the integrated 3 megapixel auto-focus camera for

The Getac PS236 is the first fully rugged handheld conforming to military standard MIL-STD-810G, demonstrating protection

rating IP67 and offering high-speed HSDPA wireless network functions. The built-in GPS receiver's electronic compass, altime-

ter and the 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus are integrated, making the PS236 a real jack-of-all-trades in field service, pro-

duction and logistics, particularly in the most demanding and aggressive conditions – everything required of a mobile data col-

lection terminal.

Top performance is guaranteed, thanks to the integrated Marvell PX310 processor with 806 MHz, as well as the 128 MB RAM

and 4 GB Flash (256 MB RAM and 8 GB Flash in the Android version). The integrated SD card slot expands this function on de-
