The “ATL…Giving from the Soul” Project is proud and excited to announce its 1st Annual “ATL...Giving from the Soul” Community Collaboration and Concert in support of the ATL Giving From The Soul Toys for Kids, “Babies Can’t Wait” Early Intervention Program – DeKalb County, and “The Perkerson House – Transitional Housing Program” in Atlanta, Georgia, slated for 2014 Holiday Season. Some of the industry’s local iconic R & B, Soul and POP artists will be in the city to lend their support by giving and exemplifying community solidarity! !Names such as the undeniable crooner Glenn Jones with hits like ”Top 10 R&B "Show Me”, "We've Only Just Begun (The Romance Is Not Over)", "Here I Go Again" and "I've Been Searchin' (Nobody Like You)” ; Dave Tolliver (Men at Large Group) hits like “Use Me”, “Would You Like to Dance” and “So Alone”; Joe “Joey Beanz” Little (Rude Boys Group) with Billboard R & B Song of the Year “Written All Over Your Face”, also “U Will Know”, and “Miss You So Much”, and Candice Glover (American Idol Winner) – Season 12) hits like “I Am Beautiful”, “Music Speaks”, and “Coulda Been Me”. !Community Collaboration: These local artists, along with many other music industry colleagues will join force and engage in: !
1. Disbursement and presenting of toys, serve as Christmas Carolers, Photo Opts, and sign autographs with children, their family members, hospital Doctors and Staff; to benefit children in area hospitals throughout Atlanta e.g. (Scottish Rite Hospital, Northside Hospital, St. Jude Hospital, Emory, Gwinnett Hospital, DeKalb County Hospital and Grady Hospital Children’s Ward); !
2. Give a portion of monetary donation to the “Babies Can't Wait” Early Intervention Program - DeKalb County; !
3. Provide some necessary items e.g. toiletries, socks, undergarments, shoes, coats, and clothes for men & women to donate to The Perkerson House Transitional Housing Program, which is a co-ed temporary housing program for men and women living with a mental illness as well as for individuals seeking to transition into independent or supportive housing. !!!!!

ABOUT THE RECIPIENTS
ATL Giving From The Soul is three-fold… !ATL Giving From The Soul Toys for Kids is to collect new, unwrapped toys in November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in community hospitals in the Atlanta Area. !Each year ATL G.F.T.S will choose a non-profit organization to make a monetary donation. !Each year ATL G.F.T.S will collect clothing items and toiletries to give to the homeless. Perkerson House Atlanta Housing Program & First Step Up Housing are non-profit organizations which provides housing to individuals living with a mental illness, substance abuse issues or who have been incarcerated and are now integrating back into society. http://www.perkersonhouseatlanta.org/
Babies Can’t Wait is Georgia’s early intervention program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. !It is a federally mandated program under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which provides a framework for coordinating developmental, educational, and community support within natural environments for children under three and their families. !Babies Can’t Wait works closely with physicians and health care providers to identify these children during infancy so that children and their families may receive the support they need. http://www.dekalbhealth.net/hs/childrens-medical-services/

Dave Tolliver made a name for himself as a member of the platinum R&B duo Men At Large. This singer, songwriter, producer, that has worked with some of music's greatest, most notably The Levert Family, and R. Kelly.
R & B Icon Gerald Levert discovered Dave Tolliver. Together they created a combustion that transformed these Cleveland boys into Men At Large. The smash hit "So Alone” put them on the map. Dave toured the world earning platinum and gold albums, song of the year in 1993 and an Indie Music Award nomination for best video, from a project released in 1999. After two successful albums, earning platinum status, and being nominated for a Grammy award, members of Men At Large decided to pursue solo careers.
