This backgroundwas further enriched by Jaya’sown motherhood. There followed a quest tounderstand the deep connection between foodandhealth,asJayaexploredtheWesternmodelsof diet and nutrition at the Institute ofIntegrativeNutrition.Thisjourneyledherbacktoher roots with a deep appreciation for thetraditionallifestylesciencethatisAyurveda.
She started formal study at the CaliforniaCollege of Ayurveda, the only state‐accreditedAyurvedic institution intheUSA.Shecompletedher course of study in 2009 and is a state‐certified Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, with over1000hoursofAyurvedictraining.
JayaisinprivatepracticeinAtlanta,offeringherknowledge of Ayurveda to her clients andderivingmuch joy in sharing her passion for anAyurvediclifestylewithallwhoareinterested.
