The Atlantic Anniversary Regatta 2017/2018 - Intro AAR is the first regatta series ever that crosses the Atlantic ocean in both directions

> It connects exotic locations like Virgin Gorda or the Bermudan Islands with the vibrant maritime metropolis Hamburg

> It‘s the celebration of the jubilees of two of the highest regarded sailing clubs in the world – the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein from Hamburg and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda

> Start port: Bermuda Island

> UK to port

> Atlantic Scoring Gate South of UK (main trophy)

> Finish port: Hamburg

> Length: 3.200 nautical miles

c. Both atlantic races counting towards AAR Silver Trophy overall
