Atlantic Diving Equipment has been manufacturing

the highest quality commercial diving harnesses

and weight belts in the United States for over 23

years. Founded by Ray Mathieson, an experienced

commercial diver, Atlantic’s growth is the direct result

of Ray’s insistence on using only the highest quality

U.S. manufactured raw materials. Products supplied

by Atlantic meets and exceeds recognized standards

of the U.S. Navy and the commercial diving industry.

In January 2011, Ray and wife Ruby eased into a

well deserved retirement. Atlantic Diving Equipment

was acquired by the owners of XS Scuba, Inc. XS

Scuba is a large supplier of diving equipment to the

recreational and technical diving industries. Atlantic’s

manufacturing has been relocated to Minneapolis,

MN where Ray continues to consult on the intricacies

owners understand the importance of maintaining U.S.

manufacturing so that quality can be closely controlled.
