Overview

OverviewThe Atlantis Viewer app for Apple devices (e.g. iPhones and iPads) provides on-the-go access to your Atlantis cases.

Push notifications will be sent to your device when an Atlantis abutment or suprastructure design is available for review, enabling you to view 2D and 3D images of the Atlantis cases pending design approval.Note: 2D and 3D images are not available for Atlantis suprastructure orders.

Using the “Notes” section on the app, comments or requests for changes can be included for the design team. Cases can be approved with a simple click.

Download and installation

1. Search for the Atlantis Viewer in the App Store on your mobile device, and tap the “INSTALL” icon to begin download.

2. Open the application from the device desktop and enter your Atlantis WebOrder credentials to login.

Navigation

1. Once logged in, the “For approval” tab will appear, providing you with a list of cases currently waiting for design approval. To view cases that are listed under other statuses, utilize the four tabs at the bottom of the screen:

a. “Submitted”: Cases you have submitted but yet haven’t been received by Dentsply Sirona Implants.

b. “In process”: Cases that have been received by Dentsply Sirona Implants that are either waiting to be designed or currently being milled.

c. “Shipped”: Cases that have been shipped to you from Dentsply Sirona Implants.

d. “Help”: From here you will be able to download this user guide.

2. By tapping on a case, you will be taken to a sub-menu, where four different tabs will provide you with additional details:

a. “Overview”: Shows an overview of the case history and what type of case it is.

b. “Notes”: See chapter “Sending notes for design modification” (page 9).

c. “2D Images”: 2D images of the abutment design (available for Atlantis abutments only)

d. “3D Images”: See chapter “Viewing 3D Images” (pages 7-8).

Viewing 3D images

1. From “For approval” tab select the case you would like to view and tap “3D Images.”

2. The case will begin to load. Note: It might take up to one minute before the complete case has finished loading; starting with the abutment(s) and then the cast(s).

3. Navigating the 3D images:

a. Zoom: Use two fingers in a “pinching” motion to zoom in and out of the image.

b. Pan: Use two fingers to move the image in the direction you want to pan.

c. Rotate: Use one finger to rotate the image in a desired direction.

4. Toggling translucency

Note: ■ Editing 3D images is not available in the app. Design modifications must be made in Atlantis Editor by logging into your Atlantis WebOrder account. Design modification requests can also be sent to the Atlantis designer using the “Notes” tab.

■ 3D images are not available for Atlantis suprastructures.

a. Tap the icon in the top right corner. By using sliders you can toggle the translucency of the wax-up, upper cast and lower casts to the level you desire.

b. To return to the viewing mode, simply swipe the window to the right.

Sending notes for design modification / Approving cases

Requests for design modifications can be provided in the “Notes” section. Tap “Add” to send the note to the Atlantis designer.

While reviewing a design, the approval button is available at the top of any status tab. Note: Approving a case will put the case immediately into production (milling).

Push notifications

As soon as a case is ready for design approval a push notification will be sent to your mobile device. The notification icon will show until you have approved the case(s).Note: Depending on the settings the push notifications can be shown differently from device to device (for more information see “FAQ”, page 11).

FAQ

Q: How do I edit the abutments?

A: An editing feature is not available in the app, but design feedback can be left in the “Notes” tab to send a message to the Atlantis designer. If any design modifications are needed, log into your Atlantis WebOrder account using your PC to utilize Atlantis Editor.

Q: How do I download the app to my Android device?

A: Currently, the Atlantis Viewer app is only available for Apple devices.

Q: Nothing happens when I click on 3D images?

A: Depending on your internet connection, it might take approx. 10–60 seconds before the case has finished loading. If it takes longer than a minute, please contact your Dentsply Sirona Implants representative.

Q: Why am I not receiving any push notifications?

A: First, check that your account in Atlantis WebOrder is setup to receive emails for images. Either “All orders entered” or “Orders entered by this user only” must be enabled:
