HISTORY
The Gold Club was established in
Sweden in 1968.
The initiative was taken by Kurt-Allan
Belfrage, President and CEO at the time.
Belfrage wanted to honor the people that
have served and contributed to the
development of the company for 25
years or more.
Sweden had then 4 000 employees.
The initial number of gold club members
were 490.

When, where and why?
HOW IT STARTED
Anyone who has worked for the Group for
25 years can become a member of a Gold
Club.
It doesn’t matter if it is an unbroken
employment or of you add up different
periods that you have worked for Atlas
Copco.
Should you be working for an acquired
company, you can count in all the years
you have worked for that company to
reach the 25 years. The only condition is
that you also have been part of the Group
for five years.
