History of the Atomic bomb…

War must be won at all costs, but how far

were they willing to go?

The Americans were

fighting the Japanese,

they needed to gain

the advantage. They

needed a bomb.

At 1:37 AM Enola Gay set off with the

most devastating mission in all of

human history.

Since that day the world has

never been the same. Any

second this could be us…

Knowing that The USA had this much power at

their disposal the USSR felt threatened…

From 1947 to 1991 the

cold war was fought by

spies and propaganda.

The threat of Mutually

assured destruction

was real.

Shelters were built,

people were scared.

Leaders were constantly in a struggle for power

supremacy, separating berlin in half…

The Cuban Missile crisis was the closest

event in history, to history ending.

America’s missiles could

reach the USSR from their

bases in turkey. The soviets

needed somewhere in range

of the states; so attempted to

put their bombs in Cuba.

But in 1991 the

wall fell thus

ending the cold

war…

and the world

breathed freely

again…
