Description of Work(Qualifications and Assumptions)

Revision Number 0

Permanent door hardware cores and keying is by the BPS.

Funds are not available to correct grounding issues with existing electrical panels. (Some of the older panels maycontain feeders that use the conduit itself as the means of equipment and device grounding, these feeders do notcontain a separate grounding conductor. Per current code standards a separate grounding conductor is required inevery conduit.)

The pricing in the GMP is predicated on the School being vacated during the summer recess, no summer school, nostudents on campus during the summer and total access to the facility.

A temporary air conditioning allowance of $20,000.00 for the administration offices is included in the GMP.

A temporary chiller allowance of $30,000.00 for the administration offices is included in the GMP.

We have included the funds designated in Attachment "F" for exterior wall, door and window joints at Buildings 2,4, 9 and 18 as an allowance for the work. We will perform as much sealant and caulking as possible within thesefunds.

The GMP is based on all Project Management and Project Management Support personnel stationed in our mainoffice being billable to the project.

The GMP is to be treated as a GMP for the project not as individual GMP's for Facility Renewal, District SchoolSecurity and Educational Technology. Buyout Savings, Contingencies, General Conditions and GeneralRequirements can be utilized as necessary to fund any portion of the project, whole or in part.

The following items are clarified as a result of the low bid controls subcontractor meeting with the BPS HVACmaintenance personnel:

Controls for Building 10 were deleted and are not included in the GMP.

Controls for Building 7 were deleted and are not included in the GMP.

New controls for Chiller Plant 9 were added and are included in the GMP.

Control output in Building 1 was added to allow BPS to see when building is in occupied mode. This isneed because the chiller plant that service Bldg. 1 is still under Siemens control. This is included in theGMP.

Use spare pair of fiber optic cables between buildings for network communications was added. This isincluded in the GMP.
