INTRODUCTION

• Magana flowers Kenya limited deals mainly with flower production located in Kiambu county, kikuyu district, muthiga sub-location.

• Owned by Dr. Mungai Njoroge Magana and family.

• In 1994, he added floriculture to his farming portfolio and began to grow roses.

• The farm has a 18.75 hectare piece of land with 36greenhouses

• The farm produces about 26rose varieties for export and local market,(spray roses and standard roses)

• Biological control: Phytoseilus persimils are produced in a bio factory

and applied when the damage is 80%.
